while i took a break from swg to play FFXI(Sucked) i played a monk, or the tka equivelent for FFXI. there were different types of knuckler type weapons, the one i liked the most was called "fruit punches". no damage, so you use your base unarmed damage, but super high speed and super low ham costs. i wouldnt mind hitting 5 times a second with low ham and lower dmg. i think the speed may make up. a different damage type on them might be neat.

The way the Devs setup the game mechanics it doesn't allow any profession to hit or shoot faster then every second, so unless they cut the speed on all other professions allowing only us and maybe pistoleers the ability to hit that faster, then the fastest we can hit is every second.
Oh and we are already getting heat, its going to be very hard to convince the Devs to give us some other type of damage without everyone else screaming for us to be nerfed.

Well maybe if we complain enough we can get something other than heat. What difference is there going to be between kinetic and heat? None. Waste of developers time. Oh and i agree FFXI totally sux. I was monk also. Didnt like the fact you can kill 50 of particulair creature then number 51 of the exact same creature will totally kick your ass. Pretty lame if you ask me.
