well you should be able to solo green and blue con creatures if you fight them one at a time. If you draw more than one you will probably not make it. The fastest way to make XP is to group though, once in a CL80 group you will take on the CL80 defense negating any damage multipliers from CL80 MOBs and will be able to tank them for your group, although you wont be able to tank because your damage will be so low that someone else will get the aggro and you will have to chase the MOB around.

And also, in a group you will get xp and move up in tk faster that you know!!

In a CL80 group you will get 6k xp per creature (assuming you get a dance buff) and including the extra percent xp you get just for being in a group.

at CL 41 i am getting under 4k per kill on bols and pickets

yes xp is gated by your CL. At CL1 with a CL80 group you will only get about 100xp per kill on CL80 MOBs. I imagine at CL54 you will get the full 6k or so xp per kill, but I am just guessing. I havent grinded a character past CL30 in the new system so I am not sure what the xp to CL ratio is. This is important to note if you decide to regrind your template so you dont dump all your skills and CL before climbing a new profession. Also interesting since everyone thinks you can grind out a character in a day now, which maybe you can if you are super grinding person, but from CL1 to CL80 is a fairly slow process until you start getting full XP.

Always have COB on you, that is the single most important thing for a TK. In addition, you should go out and buy some stim's (B or C at your level). If you use some Ruby Bliel before using the stim, the reuse time is 30 seconds instead of 60. If you want to solo most, the I will recommend to get some medic skills, and maybe novice doctor/docx000 branch. TK can use other weapons than knuckler now, try them.If you are using normal knuckler I will suggest try without them (barehanded is better than vibroknuckler now).

In addition to the tk profession, I would suggest you take up some offencive skills too, since TK is primary defence profession now.

Welcome back!

I found for me, spend some money on a low Action cost blaster fist with as high damage you can get and get into a group and start wacking away with the group until you master TK again.

Oh and, make sure you have a healer or some healing skills yourself until you get almost to second weapon master (I dropped second fighting master for MD...but that's the style of play I enjoy).

You'll love TK or you'll hate it, but you'll never know until you grind it out and play it. Keep at it! We are glad you came back and commiserate with you. I loved the game pre-cu, but I enjoy this much better! But that's only my opinion and you are very much entitled to yours. Have some fun!
