I put this together a while back when I was looking at templates
Ability Profession Modifier
Body Hit fencer 1.6
Critical Strike swords 1.4
Head Hitswords 1.6
Improved Critical Strike swords 1.8
Improved Power Attack swords 1.9
Adv Combo Attack TKM 1.5
Improved Impale Pike 1.8
Spin Attack (Area) Pike 1.2
Leg Hit Pike 1.5
Advanced Lunge (range) Fencer 1.1
Melee Hit Brawler 1
Melee Assault Master Brawler 1.4
I personally went with swords because you can get improved critical and improved armor break relatively easy, and you get head hit also...

Pikes does not have an Armor Break but it has intimidate and warcry, also has area attacks

Hey guys just curious what has more damage ability pikes or swords i mean the specials if u were using a pike special instead of swords what would b better and does pike have a armor break ability?.

I got it from a damage calculator, seems to be accurate

Swords have higher SAC cost.
The Great Kaminoan Staff can hit 1k damage with 85 SAC, whilst Swordsmen have to stick to 1k damage PHs with 95 - 100 SAC.
Critical Strike owns though.
