Hey... I'm currently in the process of making a melee onlycharacter and I'm 4|3|4|3 brawler right now, so I'm coming up on the time to where I need to decide what elite skills I want... I was going to do something with Teras Kasi, and then another melee profession... The only thing I'm interested in is PVE, no PVP at all... I heard Pikeman was good with Teras Kasi in PvE because of the crowd control... I don't really know too much about all the new stuff though, since I'm mostly a pre-cu combatant. So, what do you guys think is the best Melee PvE template out there right now? I'm headingfor Doctor aswell, it seems everyone has 4|0|0|0 Doc, but I wouldn't mind the buffs as well, so I would need 4|0|0|4 doc, but is it worth the extra skill points and would I have enough left overwith a double mastery?

For PVE pikes are definately the way to go, depending on your server I guess, on Bria all we do is spin groups so if you don't have any aoe attacks you don't group. If you aren't ric and don't want to ADK a suit of armor then TKM MPikes Doc 4000 is the only way to go

I'm actually on Bria

I'm not rich enough to adk an entire suit of armor.... Also, what would you normally fight with? Do you just stay unarmed? Or is it better to have a pike, and when I have a pike equipped, wouldn't I have to get armor? And how much does that set me back?

Lastly, what about that last doc line? For the buffs? Would I even have enough skill points? I haven't found a character builder that is updated with the CU....

Depends on your template, pikes are stronger than the katarn knuckles, so if you were a Mpikeman, pikes would def be the way to go, but thats if you can afford a good one - might be good to start out with the KKs because you can get a set for free pretty easily.

If you are going pike/tkm then you have no need for armor, unless you want to be really uber, but TKM innate is more than enough for all PVE needs, so you may as well save yourself a heap of money and not have to buy yourself a new set of armor each week by using the innate.

The last line of Doc for buffs would be nice, and perhaps you could lose some pikeman skills tog et it and just use the katarn Knuckles as your weapon, but if you do go mpike TKM doc 4000 you will only have 4 points left over to play with
