Thread: What goes best with TKM to make me a great tank?

Im looking to be a great tank - dmg dealing isnt that important - can anyone give me any advice

some healing is... yes.


Either doc 4000 or medic 0440 for a little less heals

MTK / MSwords and get Doc 4/0/0/0. Not saying i'm an UBER Tank player..but if other people say it..hmmm..look at sig

im also going to be a tank, im going for tkm / doc 4004 for healing and buffs and some lines of swordsmen for more damage, heard this is strong althougth im tryin to be a PvE rather than a PvP.

Well Swords has area aaunt and Pike has area knockdown and attack so a combo of the boot with TK + Doc would be very good at holding the aggro. One on one tank id go with TKM/MDOC with either a line of pike or swords for damege.

lol im gonna get yelled out of the TKM forums for life for this, but if you want a tank that adds to your TK, commando is very usefull, im a TKM, MCommando, smuggler 0044, pull that up on a skill calculator, my defenses are high and my speed and accuraccy are pretty high too

TKM/0034 Swords/4004 doc/mbrawler works great for me

I am currently TKM, Master Sword, Master Brawler, with novice Pike, and working on novice Fencer. Overall I can take a lot of damage and deal it out. I have heard good things about Pike as well as swords. Like it was said above it all depends on your play style.

If you only want to tank you should seriously consider getting the xx4x branch of pikes. The warcry and intimidate are vital to being a good tank because they not only reduce the damage the target deals but slows them down drastically. Get that, tkm, maybe the spin attack in pikes as well for grinding (when u want), and as much doc as can fit.

I can tank pretty decent with MTK/0444 Swords, 4004 Doc


Still thinking about going 4000 doc and 0034 swords and
getting the spin and intimidate from pikes though..


Area Taunt and taunt hold agro suprisingley well if you
can keep yourself healed.
