Thread: Ultimate Non-Jedi Tank Template?

What would be the ultimate non-jedi Tanking template?


I was thinking maybe TKM and Pikeman with a little Doc 4000 thrown in so you could heal yourself. But I also was thinking about some or all of Swordsman, so that you do a lot of damage dealing too to help hold argo.

Geez...Will you read the forums a little bit before posting? There are plenty of examples of what can be done with TK in the stickies and everywhere else.

Not to flame you too badly here m8, but I really get tired of typing and reading the same blasted thing.

There are no 'I win' templates.... Play the game and find out what you need, your requirements will not always fit in with what other people think is required...

Your style depends but vs jedi there is no longer a look at me tank everything til their force runs out invincible template anymore...

Too answer your question best I can, I'd first say it's based on your play style. Myself personally I like to charge in and start swinging. So I have a template of tkm/master pikeman/master brawler/0034swords/the rest in medic (think its novice or 0100). Get yourself a self healing medical droid to boost up your heals. With clothing you couldheal for closeto 1k if not over. Not an ultimate tank, but a fantastic build to begin with. Hope this helps.

Teras Kasi is good for fighting gank squads. Personally, yesterday i got ganked while loading in, by 5 normal's (3 melee 1 ranged 1 cm/ranged)


I held them off for 2 minutes, but after that the CM just got to me. Cant defend against -50% mind regen.

I'd say TKM/MCM ... it's alot stronger then people think... you just have to know what you're doing... hell I solo'd a lvl 86 krayte with it. But once again, style of play...
