Thread: Special Move Timers? (clarity)
You guys seem to know every little bit about the current state of play of TKA, so hopefully someone knows the following:
1) there appears to be a time limit between certain specials (KD for example). what is the duration? is it dynamic/random? possible to calculate? different per special? (KD1 vs KD2 for example)
2) when does this timer activate? on successful hits, or both failed and successful?
3) is there any way of showing the timer?? (long shot!)
Hopefully they all make sense
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Another suggestion.
The servers suck, plain and simple. The lag is horrible. Do NOT watch your target to see if he was successfully KDed.
Instead watch the target stat window at his posture state. The video quite often shows him standing while in point of fact the target is lying on his back.
So when it you hit KD again because you think it failed, all you did was give him time to get back up.
This game's lag is turningSWGinto a text based game. In heavy combat I no longer bother to watch the screen except to cycle through targets. For combat itself I am watching the stat windows of myself and my target. Everything else on the screen CANNOT be trusted.
Speaking of KD, are there two effects it can have on someone, or does its effect vary? What I mean is I've been KD'd and been unable to get up "because you are knocked down" type of message, whereas sometimes its just a case of being dizzy and hoping to get a chance to stand.
So can KD effect vary?
It sounds like you got Dizzied as well as knock down. If you are dizzy, you fall over every time you try to stand up. VERY powerful, but only works on NPCs with 2 legs.
