Right now I have Unarmed III, and 4 4 4 4 in Marksman. What is the best way to gettounarmed IV, thenall that combat xptonovice TK? Iread something a while backthat you can use a thrown weapon (granade) then peace and attack and it will give you all of thepoints as combat xp. Could someone explainthat?

This is my second char, so ignore the stats in my sig.

Look for giant hermit spiders in naboo by theed, I believe I got around 8k a lair working up to unarmed 4 and TKA.

Shoot some bleeding shots at any good mod, and stand hitting him till he die - you get your exp very fast that way.
You probably need armor and buff

What I found that works real nicely.

1. Get some good kinetic resist armor. I have a set of Ubese with %70 kinetic resist. I don't know how I used to hunt without it. If you can't afford this, do whatever it takes to get the credits to purchase.

2. Get some Vibroknucklers. Get a speed slice if you can. They help. Alot.

3. Go to Tyrena, Colleria (I'm sure thats mispelled...) and take Dire Cat missions. With Ubese and Vibros, you'll shred through the lairs in no time. If you're grouped with anything (I group with my kaduu and leave him in town), you'll get 1.2k per dire cat, and sometimes female dire cats will spawn, which go down even faster for 600 exp. The lair will give you about 1.5k. Just make sure you're always berserked, don't use other specials.

While the 1.2k isn't quite a ton, they go down fast, so you can take these missions over and over, and the exp goes up quickly.

This is probably a newb question...

Why group with something and leave it in town? Does it really boost your xp?

Thanks for the advice everyone. I had been doing lesser bol missions on dant. Does the thrown weapon trick still work to give you all combat xp or should I just settle in for a lot of fighting?

why you need combat xp?

i got novice tk in a few hours, go to endor, find mob with 70%+ heat resist, get commando friend to flame dot them, berzerk and atatck them, 3k unarmed xp pretty fast

get buffed and go to deeja peek and do moutain krevol missions. They give around 15k exp per mission and they aren't that tough. Use the bleed to start then go unarmed. That's how i did it. Now I'm a Twe'lik tk master. =)

quick edit. Fastest way to novice tk. Don't do this once you've made novice. The exp get weak.

Sounds like a plan. The reason I was asking about the combat xp was because my plan is Commando / TKA. I guess the commando forum might have better info on that, but I was wondering if the TK players had any hunting grounds or anything that might help me on the road to novice commando as well.

You get 25% xp boost whenever you are grouped. Be it with other players or your pets.
