why do non-decay mabari belts negate innate armor!!!!!!!!

grrr, i invtested my general melee accuracy and speed tapes (AA's go into those, so the jedi willing to pay 2-5mil per point dont want them) into my belt... only to do some testing and find out that i take almost double damage if i'm wearing it!!!!! grrr

i guess this is what i get for thinking SOE ever makes any sense, EVER!!!
