I just had to post this because after trying a bunch of ranged professions, the first profession my now jedi Mekar ever mastered was TK and I kept it all the way till I hit jedi because even after the insane damage ability loss we got hit with from the first CU, I loved the new aspects like innate armor for instance. It really is sad to see that other than jedi, which is of course totally dumbed down now but that's for a different topic, there is no melee class any longer. I can say that they have definitely integrated melee into the new proffs though. I was playing a commando on TC and while on the space station I took some missions from the melee trainer and decided to actually do them without a ranged weapon. I took the npc's down much faster than with a weapon and I was even still able to use a commando special while unarmed. Maybe TK can live on sort of still I guess is what I'm saying. Only CL80 level testing will tell of course if unarmed damage output still matches ranged weapons at that level though. Anyway to all of you who stay with SWG good luck in whatever profession you choose. Here's to hoping TK or some type of melee profession is added one day as the 10th profession.
