I have been TKM on multiple servers now since pre-CU.I loved the class.I made the class work post-CU, even finding a few unique profession combinations that were decently effective (something else I will miss, constantly trying different configurations).I was already upset about losing a lot of the animations and felt kind of dumb to spec some of the other melee combat professions just so I could enjoy them again.I got master TKM on my last toon last night for the last time that I know I will.I went out beat down some pickets and took a couple hundred screen shots to remember it all by.I am a student of the Martial Arts in real life and this class fit me to a Tee.

I RPed my toons because I love the profession so much.Besides 1 week post CU all 4 of my toons are and always have been TKM.Just different specs on each.I cannot stand to NOT have it in my template. It was my fire for playing this game.I have not cancelled yet, I will give it a few days in the new CD (Combat Downgrade). However that being said the dumbing down of the game is pretty much a critical blow to my interest in it.To be honest, the best thing about this game that kept me coming back and dealing with not having 8-10 slots on the same server was the fact that I could change at will and mix it up.They lied to us when they said the levels were there all along.Pre-CU I was Dancer/ID/TKM and I could go out in my sexy clothes to Dant or Dath and beat down mobs in my sexy leotard and nothing else (but a bandolier for style =).I could hang with the big boys. All I needed for combat was my beloved Teras Kasi.

I will forever love the Unarmed Hit3 animation.I can remember when I finally hit master and got it.I didn't care what damage it did.IT LOOKED SO AWESOME! I was excited for a week just being able to use it.It was the same sort of excitement when I saw my first Jedi.It was like WOW!Then holo went away and in a few months half the groups I was in had at least 1.Heck Mining Outpost pickup groups would not want to accept any other class as the main tank but a Jedi and would hold out till one came along (Post-CU of course).

So I will probably leave soon.I have much respect for you all on this board.Even though I have not posted much I have always lurked reading and never felt like I had to post because someone intelligent would answer all the questions a post or two down. That is the quality that vets like you all bring and I must say that I appreciate it as I am sure others do too.Perhaps I will give it a try when they release the new SWG on Gameboy SP or PSP (/rude @ SOE).I hate to be negative, but I have had some good times playing my Teras Kasi Warrior and I will sorely miss it.I do not want to be one of the thousands of Jedi on the server post-CU2.I am a Teras Kasi.Plain and simple. The Jedi should fear me, I need no weapon to do great harm to them.If I wanted to wave a glow stick I would have went back to Dancer.

SOE please wake up. The interdependency between professions is gone. Some professions are completely worthless now.Or was that all part of the plan? This game was great when you could enter combat or just socialize. The best two things of any MMO.And SWG had it more right then any other I have played.HAD it right.I am sad, but a better person for having known you all and enjoying your posts or hunting with you, or hanging out at the cantina talking about whatever was on our minds.I would love to post my bio for you guys to read.I looked through program files and if any of you know how to find it so I could copy and paste to here I would love to share it with you and also to keep it as a memento of good times past.

/kowtow to all of you

I will miss all my Teras Kasi Brethren very much and I feel sorry for all the professions that are also losing their pride and joy.

For me the Community made this game what it was and somewhere along the line devs have forgotten that. The game has lost its uniqueness. Its strength was in the diversity, in the interdependency and the ability to play whatever way suited you.I rode out the first CU and gave it a chance, but this only looks to be more of the same. You remove flavor and the food just doesn't seem as good any more does it?I can only hope that someone in a position of power puts the skids on this.Think about all the hours the poor devs put in to these professions only to see their children tossed away in the name of simplicity? Their imaginative ideas tossed away in disdain. I feel sorry for you all.
