Thread: Melee/Ranged Defense Caps???

Hi. I'm confused. I keep hearing about ranged/melee defense being capped at +125 , but i see people talking about it in the contrary. Just wondering if someone could clear it up for me. Do they or do they not cap?

They cap at +125. All defensive bonuses cap at +125.
Thetwo exceptions to this ruleare
Squad Leaders can take you over the cap with their abilities.And
Center of Being temporarily boosts your secondary defenses(dodge/etc) beyond the cap
That is it. Not even food or +defense BE clothing can take you past that cap.

I know the cap is 125, but I think I get hit less over it.
I say this because I had tkm capped for melee not ranged before picking up more defence to stats n stuff, now I'm way over cap on melee and 126 ranged, but I get hit less in melee than before.

I believe in the 125 cap from skills. I'm now at 161 melee defense, and I didn't notice a single bit of difference from when I was at about 120.
I think attachments can bring you over the 125 cap, but I'm not sure.

The soft cap is 125. WithSEA's and/or BE clothingyou reach the hard cap of 150.

According to the developers, the +125 is a hard cap, not a soft cap. Right from their mouths. Utess is correct.
