Hello Tks, this message is being posted by a master commando with 0/0/1/4 in BH. Last night I was at the Tusken Fort trying to have a good time amidst the large number of people there. However, there was this very rude TKM (I hope he was TKM) who would run around and try to find every chief and warlord that spawned. Now, I know the fort is competetive, but I generally leavesuch high level spawnsalone if I see someone has already started towork it over. However last night, this TKM, regardless ofhow long you had been working on a spawn, would run and and kill it. Now, some of you say TKM isn't powerful. I find thattobe a considerable understatement. This guy could kill a warlord in 10 seconds, no questions asked. I am a master commando, and am lucky if I can drop one a minute or so. I was using LLC by the way, so only 40% res, and had I had my acid rifle with me I would have beenusing it.However, even with my acid rifle there is no way Icould have killed a warlord that fast. Now, I am not asking for a nerf here, but I would like to be able to kill a warlord in 10 seconds too (not to mention I have to dedicate 169 sp to remain master commando, while tkms only dedicate 92). So, if you guys would not mind showing some respect for peoples spawns, it would be nice (not that all of you would do this, but I am frustrated with this whole thing and needed to post).

The meaning of victory is not to defeat your enemy but to
destroy him, to eradicate him from living memory, to leave
no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his every
achievement and remove from all record his every trace of
existence. From that no enemy can ever recover.
That is the meaning of victory.

I hate to break it to you, but somebody as rude as that is unlikely to read the profession boards. I agree, it's rude and selfish. I hate it when riflemen follow me around and use me as a tank without asking. They can usually outdamage me, so I feel your pain.

Next time a rifleman does that to me though, I'm just going to FeignDeath and watch him die.

I thought the NGE couldn't be any worse than the CU, but I was wrong.

Those annoying killstealers are not just TKM's, nearly any combat class does it. Riflemen are even better at it than TKM's

But when I was grinding at the Fort (TK grind that was) I hated commando's , you should use your flamethrower in there. Those things would kill whatever I was working in 1 or 2 shots. I still hate to hear that click-whoosh sound that flamethrowers make

Killstealing is sadlya part of this game, I avoid it at all times, but there are jerks that just run around doing it everywhere using the weakest excuses they can find to justify it. Best thing I found to do against those kids is to ask them why in a very polite way, to ask them to stop it and get your /report ready. 7 out 10 will start cursing and calling you names, I've had more than 1 of these forced to take a leave of the game for a few days

In EQ2 when you enter combat, no one can attack your target unless you send out a /help.

Ask the Devs why there is no locked combat in SWG.

BTW the programing IS in the game already.

For example: CHers taming a baby, no one can attack that baby while the /taming command is in effect.

For example: Escort missions, your target is most of the time attackable until you /converse with it, then it is no longer attackable.

Sounds like KS'ing (kill stealing - a form of griefing thus against the rules)... You can tell a CSR and he'll usually yell at the player

Commandos/rifleman kill steal alot more then tkm do. When i was commando it was halarious i would run over majority of tuskens 1-2shots at most and it was dead. Only 1type of tusken if im right that would take me 3-4shots. Poor tkms would be running towards something i would follow they spammed unarmedhit3 and i would just flamesingle2 or acidsingle2 and it was dead. When i was getting tkm again as well as force crystals at tusken fort a rifleman kept killing EVERYTHING i was attacking. He killed it with strafe2 in like 2-4shots and he was fast REAL FAST so under 10seconds it was dead.

FYI....as much as you may hate it......and as long as there was no harsh words invovled, it's perfectly alright and there's no such thing as killstealing in SWG.......this isn't EQ....Whoever does the most damage gets the loot? You still get your XP!!!

CSR has already sent me an email of someone blaming me for KSing at the T Fort a few weeks back because I was collecting loot kit items, stating exactly what I said above....there's no such thing as killstealing in SWG and it's not a crime(nonbannable)......now keep in mind though I didn't touch a Tuskan that had already been started to be worked unless the person was in trouble......

Whenever I had a problem with a TKM killstealer at the Fort I would ask them to stop, if necessary report them for foul language when they replied, if they didn't I wipped out my pike and made sure that whenever they were fighting more than 1 mob they would getonly 1 kill.

The biggest problem I had was when a commando or rifleman took my kills I could never outdamage them.

Also to the one who said we still get our exp, when a rifleman kills you mob by mindshotting it while you are working on the other pools, you get practically no exp even if you could wreck both the mobs health and action before the rifleman killed it. If a commando flames one it's dead before you get 2 hits in = no exp.

Sorry to burst your bubble but when I did Commando I was killing warlords first shot with flame one even... Then again that was about 6 months ago so Commandos could be a bit weaker now I'm not sure.
