well, I for one have loads of fun with tk. I'm even dropping all of my other skills to do a tanked out tk master for pvp. I've never done ranger, however it has alot of great benefits if you like to hunt alot. So my answer would be if you like to hunt, and make lots of money from missions fast, and need something that tanks well. this temp would be great, and you could sell resources as well to make you rich.

I support the Complete termination of all involved in this smokecreen, and the restructuring, and ethical rebuilding of our game the way it was.

When I started playing I went TK/CH because as a trandoshan I got bonuses in scout and unarmed. But I didn't like CH nearly as much as I thought I would so I dumped it. I wanted to go ranger instead, but talking to lots of people who had the profession and visiting the ranger board turned me off. It seems like rangers just aren't all that effective.

I will admit however that the ability to pull out a deluxe encampment with crafting stations and everything in the middle of nowhere is pretty freaking cool.

It really comes down to playstyle. I enjoy Ranger, but a lot of the usefulness has been stripped away. I personally enjoy the camps, and tracking is nice to have. Other than that, though, I really do not use any of teh skills granted in Ranger.

Im TKM and got Tracking 4 in Ranger tree, giving me a high Harvesting Bonus.

This combination is excellent while doing Meat/Hide contracts for fast and easy cash
