Hi, I hope to shortly Master TKA and would like to get some of your opinions on the best type of armor to use with this profession.

Try using an Ahrisa, your mind costs will practically go away

I wear padded chest and legs with around 55%+ kinetic , and composite gloves and helmet with like 80% kinetic/60ish base

I do fine for normal janta/mokk type fights anything higher dwb/corvette/nightsistersand id probably wear a nice setof comp just so im in the fight longer without being a stim pack sink

but for just bumming around town or doing solo group missions.. i go no boots bracers or biceps usualy just doesnt feel right to be armored head to toe and doing fancymartial arts moves lol, just my personaltastes..each to his or her own

Turning Star Wars Galaxies into a first person shooter is as bad an idea as turning it into a real time strategy game.. thanks for the toilet in the middle of the living room !

No, no, no. You walk up to them and say: "Nice shoes...wanna f*ck?" - Graflex3 - I Support Annoying, Pointless Bandwagons. You can too!

Really the same as any at the moment, Composite for the big battles and Ubese for everything else. However, you will find that many TKs go around unarmored also, it just depends on how you want to play the game.

Thanks for the reply,

I have been using the squill cave (must wear armor or die)to gather XP and have been using some composite armor but I seem to drain mind points quickly (also using brandy and canape's). Was trying to find out if one armor has less encumberence on mind stats.

Thanks again for all the great input with you advice I was able to make Master TKA last night . I used the ahrisa and it worked out great when used with the brandy and canape's.

I cant wear gloves or boots, so that's not an issue.

i generally go unarmored in everything i do... there are only 2 creatures i hunt where i will wear armor when i'm soloing them, those are krayte dragons and kimogilas... unless i'm runnin a dungeon, like the dwb, where i'll need armor... but squills, hell, i'll just use my 199 max dmg vk's and they drop before they can even land a blow on me in most cases

In PvE, i generally dont require anything besides Doc/entertainer buffs. I dont use food and spices outside of PvP or when fighting high-end npcs.

This is prolly due to the migration of stats which was advised in some other threads. You might've already migrated yours, but in case you didnt, i thought i'd just remind you that its generally a good idea to migrate the bulk of your stats to mind and use buffs and power boost.

The combat revamp is still a ways off, sotake advantage ofthis method while you can.
