Ryutek, I know you did say we were going to get some information stickied soon about your thoughts about the revamp (once someone emailed them to you). But its becoming of concern to me that TKA might be getting the nerf as theres been no discussion of it on this board.

Are there no other correspondant that did attend willing to give the lowdown, like on the rifleman forum?

What was presented at the Summit is being revised. Have patience. These are not changes that are in the immediate future, and details will be forthcoming in the next few days. There will always be "nerf" rumors and thoughts, until you see a Dev or Correspondent specifically post it, then ignore it.

No longer holding out hope, SWG will never be the game we fought so hard for, that we believed so much in. Farewell friends.

We try, butr as you or any other coresspondant hasn't posted anything in regards to where TKA is headin doesnt really give us much hope. TKA is probably high on the NERF list, as we are the most 'balanced' profession in the game atm. =/

Just because nothing has been posted regarding TKA does not equate to a "nerf." It means I do not have all of the information as of yet and therefore cannot make an informed opinion. Just be patient

These have already been stated:

Vortexala, the Combat Medic Correspondent:
"Even though Ryu wasn't there, TKAs were still well represented by the other corres who play TKs. Several asked questions regarding TKAs."

Ryutek himself:
"Well, being appointed at the "last moment" so to speak I was not invited to attend, so until transcripts and and info are emailed to me I'm afraid I cannot give much info. From what I am understanding, however, we will not be dissappointed"

It doesn't sound to me like TKA is getting a big nerf.

nor does it sound to me as we're NOT getting the nerf. Other Corresspondant and probably asking the same questions that other other people do. "TKA is overpowered, whats being done about this?". - That may well be the question...

Then continue to believe what you like. I still will not make a post regarding the Combat Balance until I have had ample time to review all information and make an educated post. If you want to believe TK is getting nerfed feel free. Until a Developer or a Correspondent states that that statement is true then it is false. If I knew of a nerf coming our way it would be posted.

That's not a question, that's a statement. The point Vortexela was making was that many of the correspondents play TKAs in the game, and are therefore fans of the profession. They have an interest in making sure TKA stays a good profession and even gets improved, just as much as you or I, or even Ryutek do. I doubt that anyone had an agenda to destroy TKA.

You're being a tad paranoid...

Not necessarily, its been a bad day for me in game as once again i feel screwed by the devs. I have no confidence left as we get screwed time after time

Moreover, CM was once overpowered and it got nerfed to kindom-come in 9.3. The probability of tkm being nerfed is high too, you cannot deny that there are many people out there who are itching for tka to get nerfed.

I know its pre-mature to guess, and speculate as I have done, but call me pesemisitc, when we are one of best professions in the game and then to hear relatively no-information post-summit (no-offence to you ryutek).
I do, however understand that it takes time to get information and review it...but its darn depressing to get no news at all..

At the very least you'll probably be presently surprised when the info is finally released, seeing as how your expectations are so low...
