Is burnout food worth taking in pvp? How about unarmed damage sea's? Thoughts?

I recently started re-templating my combat skills to TK, and Rakirian Burnout did make a large difference in PvE while I was working up the unarmed tree in Brawler, especially for that 125k needed for TK Novice.

After TKN, though, not so much. The +24/25 bonus from the food isn't that large of boost when you're working froman unbuffedbase of 140, and probably even less sofor a TKM at+200. The 40-50 filling is probably better spent on other foods like Ahrisa or Pikatta Pie.

Welcome to the proffesion Sciguy.

For burn out sauce I'd very much agree with what Sciguy has said, I know some people do like that extra little bit (often if they already have a high damage VK) but generaly speaking most people would rarther increase their defences.

For Unarmed Damage tapes however if you look to Ryutek's FAQ/Information Thread stickied on the main pages of the TK forums you will seethese do not current work, the mod adds in the character sheet but the bonus is not carried over to the damage output calculations. This information comes directly from the word of the Devs.

The only time I use burnout sauce is when fighting a jedi, cause you are gonna need all the power you can get.

Does the burnout sauce give you just +25 damage per hit, or isthere some kind of multiplier involved?

Well, as long as I'm lurking...

Based on what I saw in the FAQs, the unarmed dmg mod appears to be a flat addition to your min/max damage. So if you're using a 40 min / 150 max VK, with +140 unarmed damage your min/max is 180 / 290. Damage multipliers from specials are applied to those numbers.

Out of curiousity, does anyone know what min/max damage and speed is with bare fists?

Intresting question.

I'm unsure on the stat as I'm not very fimilar with damage calculations, however with no brawler skills the damage calculator I'm using at the moment says the damage output with no special is 15-30, but then when I add in novice brawler it's not giving me what I would expect teh damage range to be so I'm unsure how accurate this is.

Speed is apprently 4.0s.

This is something I think I'll look in to more, unless someone else knows the answer... *looks around for Atama*
