Thread: I need a realy good VK! any suggestions?

i am wanting to go tka all the way and am wondering what you guys think would be the best VK to get. i got 1 mil i am able to spend so tell me whats the best, who to get it from, where to get it, and whether speed or power.

i have a char on chilastra, good weapons on that server cost a pretty penny. if your looking for something like 220-230 damage it will probably run you 1 mil- 1.5 mil on that server probably. cant be 100% sure, i havent been on that server for a few months, after switching to scylla im never going back to chilastra.

The best VK to get is one made for you for free or close to nothing because you were a decent enough person to befriend some smiths (or have one as a guild mate), then had them craft the vk's for you using enhancements you got for free because you took the time to kill the npc's that dropped them. I.E. Nyms npc's. Or some that are dropped perportedly by Rancors (actually, it's been confirmed) which can have some pretty nice damage on them, and occasionally dots.
Those are the best. Free, good, and yours.

ya i wouldnt spend that kinda money on buying one personally . its very easy to go loot even some +20 motors on lok which could end up with about a max damage of around 166 or 167 depending on the smith . then just pray for a damage slice. i had 5 vks made with +20 motors and all 5 were speed sliced so there pretty much grinders now . but a decent 30% damage slice would make a nice vk of over 200 damage then use a pup to squeeze even more damage out of it.
the hard part is finding a smith, most of them are just alts and only log on every so often to make a run of guns or whatever..the best way to get to know smiths is to offer them loot they can use for free and in return make you some vks . good bartering items would be any extra motors or like executioners hacks schems etc..which are pretty useless weapons i dont know why people buy them over hammers,i useaully give them away pretty cheap. the trick is not to get discouraged by most smiths who flat out reject you on making things ,most i found were pretty ignorant and only wanted certain items or lots of cash to make items,or most times not even reply . just keep the names of people in mind when your shopping next time and find out who made a weapon you like get there name and send a /tell to see if they can help you out. most are fairly decent people ,but some are real jerks and wont help anyone but friends and guildes. my guild doesnt have any smiths so i found it hard to find someone to make my wares..

Never been on chilastra, but I know that 2.0 speed and under, and damage over 150 is the way 2 go

Get with me in game, I have a TKM and a MWS on the server and just made a bunch of nice VK's. The best one was 230+ max damage (without a powerup) and it will probably sell closer to 3 mil if I sell it on the forums. However I have some nice nym enhanced vk's with a speed slice, the damage is about 184 and the speed is under 2 that I will give you a deal on.
