Do the unarmed and ranged defense bonuses granted in the TKA line apply even when you have a weapon in hand (such as a rifle)? Or do you only get them when unarmed? Same for the defense vs. dizzy, stun and knockdown?

Some apply only to being unarmed (or using a knuckler), while others are anytime. It is pretty hard to test one way or the other though as to wether anytime bonuses are actually helping. Unarmed Toughness, for one, is only while unarmed, and also only against melee attacks per the devs.
