Is it possible to feign death, then forceof will right after? I'm not quite a novice smuggler yet, and I just thought of this combo. Thanks!

I dont have tka, but I'm almost 100% sure this isnt possible.

Im not sure I understand. When you FD...you can get up whenever you choose...why would you want to use Force of Will?

FD = Pretend to be incapped, you are not actually incapped, you can just stand up when ever you want. Apparently when in this state you cannot be 'death blowed' (well you are not actually incapped), but from what I have seen you can still receive wounds (PvP abuse).

Force of Will is to get you up again when you have been actually been incapped.

They are two completely different conditions.

I use FD usually when I am outnumbered in combat and my ham bars are depleting faster than the damage I am causeing. I usually use a few stimpacks, but if mind is getting depleted fast I FD to get ham bars regenerated and to lose the agro. I either just lay there till they move away and I can escape in safety to regenerate my stats or just lay there until stats are regened enough to continue fighting without getting incapped in 2 seconds.

I don't have force of will yet so cannot say what it is like or how well it works.

I could see you wanting to med while feigned...clear that nasty dot...get rid of that poison/disease that the Master Dr. drops on you.

As to Force of Will, it could be useful too. Many times I have feigned on an incapping shot. Timer will pop up tell me I have 90 secs or so and begain to count down....after timer is done, and stat is positive again I still lay there feigned...

Looking forward to getting my Med skill up and playing with the new change to Power Boost.

Ahhh, thanks all. As I said I don't have feign death yet, and was unaware that you could get up and run around while in that condition. I thought it was an "incap-like" condition that did like a temp incap (10sec mabye) or whatever. As you can see, my imagination was rolling. I have decided to totally veer away from my original path of M.Pistoleer/M. Smuggler to TKM/m.Smuggler with medical skills. I am totally stoaked at the possibility of what the TKM's are doing. My original plan included meditate4, now I'll just master TK! w00t!!

feign death is really good in PvE, NOT in PvP....you get griefed at continually shot at...esp if ppl know what you're doing.

But you could just lay their and take on wounds and never die, but be 100% black in HAM...just wait till they go away

Actually FD is a bit buggy right now, in that it is possible to FD and get incapped at the same time. This happened to me while killing a Tusken Chief. Whenever he got my HAM's to a dangerous level I would hit Feign Death. For Feign Death to take effect you have to actually get hit and take damage, which is usually magnified by a considerable amount. That shot was always enough to incapacitate me, but because I Faigned Death he would not Death Blow me, so I would have to wait for the timer before I could get back up again. I don't have Force of Will yet, so I can't comment wether it would definitely be useful in that situation, but there are opportunities to use it.

oh, you cant use forceofwill while feigned b/c you're not incapped.

and fow works 50% of the time, you either get up or you don't...and you're ham is shot.

For all of you people who dont have FD and FoW that say it isnt possible (havent seen one response confirming it) know this, you can feign and then use FoW because you are incapacitated. The only thing that keeps you from being able to stand and not get dbed in the status effect you take on when you feign death. You recieve this effect when you use feign death and it says "preparing to feign death" you will remain standing until you can "take a hit in order to feign death" (for reality's sake). Once again, you can FoW while feigned, all of your ham depletes and you do not stand up. If FoW fails then you will not be able to do it unless you re-feign or get incapped.
