Teras Kasi Archive
Thread: Ok another short story this time from the Impeiral side
Ok guys I completed the other story this time it's from the Empire's side of things. Again the main character is never really described so that this can be your TKA from the game if you want it to be. This was written in about 20 mins, I'm already a few moments late for class so forgive any grammer and spelling. If you can please post and tell me what you think!!
Thanks a bunch.
Yuri
It was midnight, and everyone in the dojo was fast asleep. We had just had one of the hardest days of training that I could remember as we had just received word that some of our Bothan spies had discovered a secret Jedi training ground. Thought Lord Vader has done his best to wipe out the force users more and more of these camps are being discovered.
This is why the Empire began recruiting masters of the ancient way of fighting known as Teras Kasi to join their ranks. As the Teras Kasi or TK as we like to call ourselves have always kept an eye on the Jedi it was only fitting that we should join with the Empire to stop their power from getting out of control as it had oh so long ago.
Teras Kasi is a trained way of fighting that is more like a religion when you really began delving into it. Due to this many of the masters refused to train any member of the Empire feeling that the Empires ways did not meld with their religion. Luckily by the time I was old enough to join the Imperial army there was one master willing to forgo religious ideology to join with the mighty Empire.
My master for the past five years, Mahale, was a dark skinned human who kept his dread-locked hair braided in a type of pony-tail down his back. I remember the first day I entered the Dojo and be began training us. His body put all of us cadets to shame and we had just come out of some of the most rigorous basic training you’ll find in all of the galaxy.
That was some time ago though, and I found myself not resting well. I was too excited about what was to come. I was really going to get to see Jedi in action, and then have the privilege of brining them down along with the other students of the Imperial Dojo and master Mahale. I decided the best thing to do with my restlessness was to go for a quick jog around the grounds, get some of this pent up energy out of me.
Being an official branch of the Imperial army our dojo was slightly different from others you would find in the galaxy. For instance we had specially designed armor made for that was built to deflect the piercing effects of the Jedi light saber. Rumor had it that these armors were made using the same technique that made Mandolorian armor but I had no idea about that. It all looked like standard Ubese to me.
Another perk of being in the Empire was that, unlike other dojo’s, we didn’t have to bother with growing our own food. According to Mahale the school he trained at spent almost half of it’s time growing food for them to eat, that way they could cut themselves off from the outside world and focus more on their study. Also something about the backbreaking labor helped them focus their mind. Well my mind is just as focused and I get very tasty Imperial food rations, thank you very much.
As I passed by our food storage area it was then I heard the familiar sound of a light saber being activated. I immediately stopped, and quietly peaked in to see what was going on.
There before me stood a Zabrak female, she was no taller than five feet three inches and she was using her light saber to break open the containers with our food. I watched as she then used a needle to inject something into the water containers in each packet. So much for the noble Jedi, here one stood poisoning our water before we had a chance to attack them. She would then repair the containers where she was forced to open them and move on to the next.
I had seen more than enough and I charged into the room, before she could even react I had already left my feet and extended my foot landing a swift blow to her chest. The Zabrak flew backward and hit the wall. She was quick to recover though and immediately her light saber was out and she began quickly swinging and thrusting at me.
Our movements were almost like a dance as I would step out of the way of her saber attacks, occasionally jumping over a low swing or ducking a high one. I tried to counter as best I could and was able to land a few open palmed strikes to her face, and one to the abdomen but her training along with her naturally thick Zabrak skull made my attacks more like playful slaps.
We continued in this dance of battle until I could hear others being awoken by our fight. She must have heard the others as well because before I knew it I was being flung backwards, out through the door and onto the ground. She hadn’t even touched me instead I just received my first force push. She had barely even tried and yet I was down on the ground.
She began running away as fast as she could thought I was able to keep up with her for the most part. The entire dojo was no doubt up now and just then one of the other students exited their quarters and stood right in front of her, without even thinking her light saber was out again and with one strike she beheaded my fellow TK. He hadn’t even seen it coming, in fact he was just coming out to see what was going on.
This happened a few more times where someone would come out to see what was going on and would be welcomed by a saber to the stomach, head or elsewhere. Each one just fueled my hatred for this woman even more and finally as we ran I began screaming not to come outside that there was a Jedi on the loose.
Finally she ran out of the dojo area and began heading for the forest. I knew the location of the Jedi training ground that we were to attack in the morning and this was exactly the way we were going to head out tomorrow. She then leapt into the tree tops using the Force to help her reach those heights. She was hoping I would lose her in the twilight and the canopy of the forest but she couldn’t have made a bigger mistake. I knew these woods like the back of my hand, luckily I had focused on Ranger training when I entered the Imperial Academy.
I took a short cut that would lead to the straightest path for her to take to get to the and I could hear her jumping through the trees heading in my direction. Master Mahale had told us that if we focused hard enough with our training that we would have the strength to knock over mountains. I didn’t want to knock over a mountain but I did aim on taking out the tree that stood in front of me as soon as that Jedi began heading for it.
I had a few seconds before she would get there and I began deeply focusing on the spot where I was going to strike. I felt something flow through me, as thought my strength was in fact getting larger and then as I heard her leap from the neighboring tree, I struck trunk as hard as I could. It sounded like a lighting strike the sound of the impact was so great, but it had the desired effect. Almost immediately she tree began to topple over and I saw her loose her balance and fall with the tree.
I slowly walked over to where she laid, I had no idea if she was dead or alive I was just glad to see I had stopped her retreat. I stood over her looking at the horns that protruded from her forehead, just like the devil she was. It was then I saw movement and heard again the familiar sound of a saber being activated. I rolled to my left and narrowly missed being sliced by the ancient weapon.
We again entered a tango of saber strikes and thrown punches but she wasn’t as quick as before and I was began to land more and more blows to her body. I got cocky though because as I delivered a fierce kick to her leg that felt as though it had dislocated her knee cap I saw out of the corner of my eye her saber coming straight for my neck. I did the best thing I could think of and raised my arm to block the attack.
Master Mahale told us that as we trained our minds to be strong so to would our bodies follow. He told us of Teras Kasi who were able to stop weapons with just their skin but I had believed that to all be rubbish. Yet as the light saber touched my forearm it burned, good god did it burn but only on the outside. Unlike my friends who were dismembered by this very same weapon I was able to stop the saber from cutting too deeply into my skin.
I saw the look of astonishment on her face as she tried to push down more on the saber to cut my arm into but she couldn’t get the leverage she needed. So with my arm blocking the saber, I delivered a fierce uppercut to her stomach, the blow was so strong she dropped her saber and stood there on one leg clutching her abdomen. I then spun my body around and delivered a kick to her head that broke off several of the horns that surrounded the area where her hair should be. This kick sent her flying into another tree where she was then embedded.
I was totally worn out, and fell back resting on the tree I had managed to topple. Just then Mahale arrived and saw what I had done. He said nothing but gave me an affirming nod. The raid on the Jedi training ground went well, the totally whipped out their forces who were obviously Rebel from the materials we found on their bodies. I never found out the name of the one I managed to kill the night before or any of the others I killed the next day. Mahale warned me against getting too cocky informing that who I had killed was merely a padawan that a real Jedi would have killed me in seconds.
That didn’t matter to me though I stood toe to toe with the Force and a light saber and I had come out victorious.
well first off...
nice story but a bit far fetched lightsabers cut thru steel doors they will cut off your arm with out much effort..
this whole jedi hunting thing is bogus..
but its nice to see fan fiction of this sort mybe ill give a try at it soon ![]()
well i see where you are coming from, but I try to work in things we get from the game. Like in my last story one of the characters used power boost, the whole arm cutting off thingy was suppose to demonstarte a master tka's high melee toughness, cause in the game the lightsabers are using kenetic which a tka is highly resistant too.
Also I had no freakin idea how to work the imperial angle and it was the best i could come up with lol thanks for replying though ![]()
I thought it was awsome and totally belivable. Great Work!! Make some more, and can you post a link to your other stories? I like the way you describe the fighting, it could see it as I read it.
