Thread: Something I did yesterday that gave me great xp
Now, when I was a quaint brawler, they were a bi7ch to kill, but as a tka and a ranger, no sweat. I headed south towards Mos Eisley and finished the standard mission. level 12, no sweat = no good xp. I'm heading south again, and run into the Alkhara. After a few kills, I realized it was a spawn point. Goody. So, I did my usual routine, taunt one from a distance and let them chase me until two are following me. Kill them, repeat. I continued this until the spawn point stopped producing targets. That got me about 950-1400 xp per head at about 30 heads. You do the math. Nice, eh? Still no scyk kills. Not to mention the 2k credits looted plus uncountable numbers of weapons I can sell.
I continue to head south and ran into a desert stalker spawn. This time I was caught ill-prepared and got db. I did manage to get 2k xp from the few kills I got before db. Back to Mos Taike I went. Heading south yet again, I'm passed the point where the Desert Stalkers were and found my first spawn point of scyk's. What made it even better was that when I initially killed the first two, I did my normal hit on the lair to spawn more. Well, instead of 2 spawning, 12 spawned. Okay, so about 800-900 xp per head. Then another lair spawned about 50m up the hill as I was killing off the spawned scyk's. Then as I went, more would just popup. Woohoo, I killed 68 scyk's in that one little area. I got my 10k and a load of xp. I learned new tactics with this venture, and was happy to return to Mos Eisley with a buttload of BF. Luckily, there was an entertainer at the bar in Mos Taike running a revolving macro, so after DB I was perfectly healthy.
So now that I did all that, I'm only about 2-3k xp from 0 1 1 1. I'm now just 0 1 0 0.
Just use lots of mask scent and be wary of the aggressive mobs on the way there. This could probably be done without a pet, but they hit pretty hard and either disease or poison depending on whether u get defilers or nocuious ones. So you make 60 + k unarmed per run plus 40 thousand credits and each 2 missions takes probably 20 minutes. Didnt take me long to make master at all.
I just made Master yesterday. I did just about all of it on Dantooine doing Huurton Stalker's over a 4 week period. I wasn't in any hurry -)
Kamuriths disease and until you get up in the Meditate tree that's a real pain. All Huurtons do is kill
The are much the same, two there when you get to the mission, and two spawn each time you hit the lair, although there is a chance to get babies, for a total of six Huurtons and a payout of 9k+. I made well over 1mill credits. I harvested the meat for my BE friend, but if you can, loot the hide 'cause its way more marketable. (Unless something changes resource-wise).
I seriously suggest all new TK's get the Meditate and the Power trees first. Trust me it will make your life so much easier. I just wish I'd have known that before I finished. (I did the Meditate tree last).
Huurton huntresses are the way to go (Or any huurtons for that matter). You can take 10k missions on Dant for them and they give 3-4k xp per kill. Just take a good pet (Something like a grand wrix/GSP works ok).
I have been making about 20-30k xp per mission with these (2 missions each run). The only thing you have to look out for is the slow spawn. Sometimes you will be fighting one and about 4 more will slowly spawn and begin attacking, so just go easy with them and there is little risk. Buy some good pet stims too so that if your pet gets in trouble you can crank him up for 500-600 damage plus your regular stims.
I've also soloed these missions at brand spaken new novice (pre-patch before the extra damage) with some doctor buffs.

IF u have ch skill or just a decent creature that can tank the absolute best way to level is kamurith missions on dath. They have no resists and there are always 6 per lair 2 starting outside. U get one to come over and attack your creature, kill it as fast as possible. Then sick your creature on the other one and walk over and kill it. HIt the lair a few times, run and repeat. Each kam gets u 4-5k xp depending on how far into the tree u are(the farther you are the more xp you get per kill for some reason) + the same for the lair. So thats 30-35 thousand unarmed xp per lair plus 22K for the mission with little risk.

CH skill my arse, I solo'ed Kamurith Defiler missions without a pet, they aren't that hard... but then again, I'm also a Master Doc as well, hehe
Even so tho, they aren't hard enough to warrent the *need* for a pet, you just have to use something called skill.

I grouped with another ranger novice like me. We grabbed two explorer missions a piece for dewbacks. So, we're heading out and run into a spawn point for Greater desert womp rats. With him shooting and both of us throwing traps, I was attacking face to face and I was getting about 2k xp per rat, plus about 1k xp from throwing traps per rat. Just another idea. It's smart to group for such animals.
