Doctor buffs are now nerfed as of this patch.

Prior to the patch I could buff regularly for 1.5k to 2.5, now I am buffing on average of 1k or lower. This is being noticed by other doctors as well!

Thanks developers for saying NOTHING to us as we hit the download key and proceeded to play. I can't believe that an organization as big as SOE forces the players to figure out what has been nerfed...and they don't have the decency to tell us either in test or patch notes.

Good going guys. Now with buffs so randomly bad, how will players be able to wear new armour? Or fight against mobs with their uber 800ish health/action points.

There must be something more specific that has been nerfed to cause these lower buffs. Because I have been buffed both poorly and normally since the patch yesterday.

Nope, I was using the same enhance packs as I used the day BEFORE the patch. At first I didn't notice an issue. I buffed some guildees in the med centre in Kaadara like I always do. I noticed no major issues. Then I buffed myself and everything I buffed for was under 1k...and no, I didn't have any bf. I then buffed an entertainer and everything was in the 300 to 400 range. The red flag went up right then and there!

After that I noticed that sometimes a buff would be good, but mainly I was buffing in the 1k or less range. Other doctors are now noticing the same issue. They thought they were crazy, but then they realized that this is a random issue. It seems to affect about 40%+ of buffs. You too will notice it.

This isn't a small issue, this is a big one. Buffs are expensive to make, and expensive for you players to buy. SOE has nerfed buffs. How would you like to buy expensive armour only to now find that if you pay 5k for buffs that you now can't wear it as you are buffed for a measly 700? There is no reason why after the patch, that enhance buffs are going BELOW them created minimum. These are buffs individually made pre-nerf, and not from a crate.

You know that would explain pretty much everything about buffs right now. I just hope the 93 med use isn't the final decision.

Numen, I am a Master Doctor, I also have a significant number of skill points in the Combat Medic skill tree as well. There is NO WAY that I don't have enough points to buff well. I was also one of the first Master Doctors on this server and trained most of the Doctors that you see now. I use advanced components. I have buffed for 1.5k to 2.5k on average PRIOR to the PATCH.

Please don't let this issue die. SOE has either created a nasty bug to buffs, or they have nerfed doctor buffs badly. Either way a fix is in order as this affects everyone!

This is not true, btw. There is no nerf on doctor buffs. The same client code is rolled to all live clients...the same server code is rolled to all live servers. So, all servers, code wise, should be identical.

That said, my first buff last night was for about 1000 points for all 6 stats. i thought...bummer, it got nerfed. But, I buffed about another 4 people before the night was over and was hittin consistently for my regular buffs of 2000 to 2700 points per stat.

Buffs have not in any way been nerfed. Just make sure to send all your clients to the cantinas to get their BF taken care of before u buff them. There are no guarantees that BF will lower the buff, but it might. So, I don't take the chance. Some of the buffs I did last night were for entertainers (those with no BF and overall very good condition)...those were the ones I was hittin HIGH on. The one I got a LOW buff on was a figher...one that probably did have high BF.

Bloodfin buffs: 2.5k to 3.4k, no nerf here. Maybe it's your crappy droids, enhance packs, or something else. But those were the buffs I've been getting from serveral different doctors.
