This is my goal after dabbling in several professions, I have decided to master commando and TK. I was going to be a grenadeer/MCH but decided against it after a moment of clarity.I thought to myself, what is the most fun combo you can possible have ? Answer:TKM/Master commando. What could be more fun than setting something or someone on fire then putting your fist thru the back of their head? I sure cant think of anything. I was just curious to hear If anyone else has done this same combo, and what you think of it.See you soon amongst the TK ranks.

I'm fairly close to haveing both Master Commando and TKM, and even at my limited profficiency level, it's an extremely powerful combination. Granted, you'll be slow moving, since the only exploration you can keep is Explore 1, but as a guildie so put it, "you'll be a slow-rollin' ball of whoop-a**." Especially after the latest master commando defensive mods. With clothes, my melee defense will be over 110 and ranged will be 80ish. I did the math, but then Thanksgiving day came around and my short term memory went buh bye.

I am currently a tkm/master commando and have to say that yes... you are quite formidable in combat. The lack of any subsidiary professions does kind of blow, though. No hobbies for you! lol

Anyway, a good tactic is, of course, to knockdown then immediately flamesingle your opponent, then quickly unequip the flamethrower and let your tka defenses absorb the damage while your opponent burns. This works well against all comers as it vastly reduces the damage you take while still putting a nice dot on the bad guys.

I am not going to stay with this build however... A less skill point draining and more versatile mix seems to be more my style. If combat is your one and only desire... then carpe diem and burn, melt, irradiate, explode, then pummel, crush, smash, smash, smash, then burn some more... etc..

I must say i love this combo, i am a god when it comes to PVP and PVE, if i have a kiter then i just use my smuggler skills that i have with the LP (low blow and panic shot) and in PVE if i start to die then all i have to do is feign death, so being master TKA/master commando is extremely stong, and the lil bit of smuggler that i used the last of my skill points on makes me even better. Alot of ppl use the 18 points you have left on novice medic, but then you are screwed when it comes to some one kiting, that is why i suggest you use the other points on a ranged proff.

Triple master as well....

Its a very interesting combo.... as far as pvp i would have to say that i KD almost religiously...so in case i miss... (like usual)with flame,i get another chance. I also love the sheer fun of TKM... when you find yourself flameconeing everything in sight an "uh oh.... no ham" you can switch to unarmed and take a few minutes worth of pounding (maybe a heal or two)...lol

I really enjoy TKM/commando, but I was only master commando for about 20 minutes while I made my way to the smuggler trainer (next holo profession). I still have 0040 commando, and will probably rework to 0440 once the holo quest is done.

3 boxes of TKA away from Master TKA / Master Commando...and already I'm loving the results...I get comments all the time about how well my character can tank just about anything...

I have been a Master Commando / Master TKA for about 2 months now.

It boils down to this:

No one comes close to you in PvE, but you will die alot in PvP unless u can get within 15m (for flame specials).

In PvE, I can solo (no pets) a large rebel base with 6 red cons.

In PvP, all I got are close range skills (TKA and flamer). Outside of 15m, even heavy particle beams or RLs do about 1200 damage max every few seconds...which is not enuff to kill a buffed opponent...while my opponent is cranking out 900-1000 per second.

If u land a flame special withing 15m, they die.

This is right up my alley.

Your a serious heavy duty dmg dealer. It really is a great combo. The only other profession I dabble in is medic, had to drop all my scout skills.

My biggest problem in life is figuring out how I want to kill you

It is this combo I attribute with being able to recently leave the dearic starport with a nice pile of flamed graul maulers, rancors, and a few pc's dead on the starport ground

There is not a pet in the entire galaxy I can't grind into a chewtoy now. The pure commando's can boast about theyr'e pet killing skills... but a TKA/Commando is a supreme pet killer.

I don't think it's the best PVP combo. I find being a TKA far more usefull in pvp than being a commando. And all the extra weapons I rarely have the time to properly utilize them in real pvp action. But knockdown+dizzy+flame1, now man that can't be beat

At the end of the day make no mistake to 90% of the population out there you are pure death.
