Hi all I'm halfway through unarmed 4 and heading for TKA novice with plans to master it. I've read over the boards and the FAQ and am looking for some advice on the various specials.

I read over the FAQ and what each special does but what i couldnt really glean from it was which are useful and used often and which arent so useful. so could you please offer advice. Also. which route is it best to take when leveling up through TKA?

Its not that i dont want to help, but you should look through a couple of the pages here. It's one of the most asked questions and theres alot of good suggestions if you look for it

Right now it may seem like it is going to be a long journey but as soon as you reach Tk novice you start doing alot more damage which in turn gives you alot more xps. First thing get you a pet...I do imp missions with an at st and I get around 4k of xp on each mission. Let the mob or whatever you are attacking aggro on your pet and use the heck out of your unarmed2 hit. You will eventually start getting other hits like dizzy and knockdown which is really nice. You can dizzy your opponent and then knock him down and kick him while hes down lol. As soon as you hit novice you will start figuring what is best for you and what moves to use for different situations. Good Luck

Unarmed hit 2 is by far the best attack. The pool specific attacks are good finishing moves. The most common route is 010x, 011x, 211x, 214x, 244x, 444x. Meaning, KD first, then get dizzy, then get powerboost, up the power line and meditation line last. Striking is combat xp so fill it in as you get it.

This is well spelled out in the FAQ, I highly, highly, highly recommend all new TKAs memorize that document.
