Thread: Complaint!
Game logic isn't true logic.
Can you tell me why and how a gunfighter can be as sharp while runining as standing still ? No..same apply for the whole unarmed fight in the game.
I have not seen anyone beeing good in close combat unless they were Jedi
Wookee hand to hand combat.
I second Cielago. If we base this on a logical point of view, then everyone that doesnt wear armor should go down with one well placed shot no? The game is meant to be fun and logical to the SW universe to a certain extent. I recognize that I am not a true hard core SW fan since I have only read one SW book, but I am sure if you read the books, and search out the information, you'll find out that TKA had to have been the second tuffest Sentients in the universe. Also TKAs where trained for the sole purpose to kill Jedis, so they had to be equal or better than Jedis.

I feel though that the effective player use them since they are very powerful and in the universe of starwars I have not seen anyone beeing good in close combat unless they were Jedi. Think on this if you will and look at logic. A pistoleer attacking an unarmed person probably would kill the unarmed one if I am not mistaken and thus it seem logic is not good there.
I may be wrong in thinking like this but I feel there is a serious flaw with this profession.

This logic can only be proved or disproved when range is considered. At 'contact' range, the armed man is fertilizer. At ranges beyond 'contact' (meaning the guy with the gun can perceive movement/threat before the unarmed can touch him) the unarmed guy is dead.
You've also not seen people going to the bathroom, fueling shuttles, changing powercells in their blasters, combing their hair, taking medicine, paying rent, or having a cold. I agree that there's a 'standard' of reality if you will, but it seems to be pretty flexible.
