I'm one of the less traveled servers, and I just wanted to share an experience that I had reclently.

Now, on my server, at the times I play there is practially no one at the base NPC faction base in Naboo (a popular place to hunt Holocrons).

So yesterday I finished the skills that I felt my character would need to kill Surface Marshells in the base fast and effectively:

2/4/4/3 TKA (working tword master)

1/1/0/0 CH (using GSP)

4/4/4/0 Medic

I also have a plentiful amount of muon gold at any time (+500 to Mind, Focu, WIllpower, lasts 600s). So after powerboost my hams were 1600/1600/1900 ( I think, the mind stat may be off).

So I get to the base and to my suprise, there is not one person farming the base. Now at first this made me kind of nervous. But I decide to try taking the entire base by myself. I walked up the door, and sent my pets on 1 of 4 surface marshalls standing there. Then I went around and systematically KD/Dizzy all of them. There were a few Commandos shoots at s too so I KD/Dizzyed them too, then began to kill and loot.

Now I'm going to make a long story short, by using muon gold/power boost, Encum slice comp helm, Comp chest plate, ubese pants, a GSP, and no VKs I was able to clear teh entire base (even the big room) by myself. It took a good 1 1/2 hours adn I looted one Holocron.

I just never imagined how powerful TKA was going to be.

Amazingly enough, the ability to do what you did is universal throughout a majority of the non-broken proffessions.

I've done that with no pets and no spice except for the AT-ST. Kudos to you but not really that difficult.

Yeah, I don't find that unusual for any profession buffed and armored as you were during the tests. Still doesn't beat my experience with a Master Rifleman coming into room after room 15 seconds behind me and one-shotting the entire room full of Darktroopers preventing me from looting the ONE DT I was attacking. KD/Dizzy on NPCs is a topic for dicussion, but try the same approach without KD/Dizzy to get an idea of what a KD/Dizzy nerf would be like. KD/Dizzy appears to be the one skill which allows TKA to take on more than one high-level NPC at a time (unless uberbuffed and/or uberarmored).

Withmy buffs, I can solo a base. I rarely use KD/dizzy. I do use KD because once down the SM dies intwo to three more strikes. My armor is strickly for PvP.

SMs are nothing now. They con dark blue to me. There are Rebels that con white though, "Freelancer" I think was it's title. I spawned with a Large Rebel Base mission I had. Still killed him fast enough, but until then I though SMs were the strongest.

I dont use pets. All I do is equip a pistol and pull the small groups of SM's out of the base. 5 SMs and 2 lower level Rebels on me at once are fair odds. Of course if I sent in a AT-ST then I could follow it in and wipe out the base in a minute. No AT-ST yet though. Have not made up my mind whether I should get a suit of ST Armor until the Devs finish screwing with the AT-ST.

Must try this. Where is this base?

Darn... I was hoping they added a new vehicle just for us TKAs. Congratz on your achievement of clearing out that base though.
