Thread: Is Teras Kasi the Right Way to Go?
Dear Fellow TKA's,
I have finallyreached the commando tree but i am extremley disastifed with everything. I can't win any duel. I have been killed by everything thousands of times!!!! I have seen TKA's in action and see that they can knock down anyone even a KUNGA!!! So, shouldi drop the master marksman title, and the novice commando title to become a TKA? Please respond if you have read this message!!!!!!
meditation looks like your reallllllllly concentrating on something and heres what it does (i always get mixed up on med 1 & 2 bear w me)
novice tka = heal bleed
med 1 = heal poision
med 2 = heal disease
med 3 = nothing new
med 4 = wounds (YAAAAAAAAY!!)
master tka = faster wound heal
I'll Vouch for the TKA/Commando setup!! ![]()
Don't think TKA is as uber as you may have seen though. Knockdown isn't flawless... and on kunga it fails more than it works.
As a commando, you won't win most "duels".... as a TKA you will probably lose "duels" also.
Given a 1 vs 1 "duel" situation I would probably lose. All someone has to do is stay 30m away from me and I lose.
Put me into a battle however... and I"ll have your small army of 20 wiped out in 3 minutes or less.
The BH/Pistoleers now those guys can win "duels".

I would like to become a Master Creature handler too so it is either commando, or TKA. And another question. How much damage can a novice (fresh novice) TKA do with Vibroknucklers and without. And what is this whole meditation thing and what does it do?
Unless you really like creatures, and hte idea of having a pet..... don't bother.
If your master TKA you can become your own pet.
Okay so i have decided. I am dropping the Master Marksman and novice commando proffesion to go after the Tka profession. Just have some other questions.
1. How much damage can a fresh noviceTKA do with and without a vibroknuckler?
2. Should i keep at least one marksman branch?
3. Would doing this be a wise choice. Will i have better luck on a battlefield or in a duel.
4. Will i be able to solo more?

I'd suggest go tka, but don't drop commando. The two professions really complement each other pretty well.
Novice TKA does about just under 1k dmg without knucks... (don't quote me on this been at least a month since I hit master).
If you decide to keep commando.. of course you need marksmen
Otherwise choose either pistols or rifles.... pistols are the more popular choice as you can also do smuggler and that has some nice bonuses to a TKA's skillset ![]()
TKA is not the uber pvp duelist profession. No true uber pvp setup will really have TKA in it. Profession combinations as they relate to pvp should really be decided along the lines of what kind of pvp do you want to win?
The majority of battles I fight are generaly in groups with other people, where I'm not left to face 1 or more other combatants on my own. Where I can somewhat freely move about the battlefield dealing out huge dmg to pets and players un-abaited.
TKA's can solo more... but there is a limit. First time you find something 100% resists to kinetic, or high AR2 and high resits otherwise your screwed as a pure TKA. Although in every situation you can serve as a good "meatshield" for others
This is why commando/tka can be powerfull. You have 2 of the highest dmg dealing professions together. And the weakness in 1, is an advantage for the other.
One other thing he did'nt seem to cover, Use Vibro knucklelrs till TKM. They make you attakc a hell of alot faster. and I believe damage is for the most part the same.
