Ex-MBHer here switching to the melee side. How important is Doc skills with TKM? Is it essential in PvE or PvP? I know that it would help, but wanted to know opinions about how much it would help. I was going to dabble in Fencer also but if I go doc, wont have the skill points left.

You don't really need to be a master doctor but you should at least know one that can buff you.

TK with buffs is amazing.

Youll want and need medic, especially for pvp. Doctor I dont have and I fare well as long as they dont move. We have our own little buff but that wont help you much considering you can really only add about 500 to each of health action and mind... But master doc IMO is a waste of points. You can go buy the buffs.
So basically, get novice medic and good stim B's and youre set... despite what they say we are NOT tanks, and DO take alot of damage

Buffs on tap, stims E's healing your 3000 point HAMS.

The big one, believe it are not, are your secondaries. Buffing them increases your recharge rate AND lowers the HAM cost of your specials.

Master Doc / Master TKA is a hellava combo. Problem is I get cocky and take on a Rebel Player town just to look it over. Took 4 of them with me. But even with buffs, being set on fire, poisoned, diseased and a few critterschewing on your ankles and Rebel Troopers blasting you while the other Players are beating on you too...will even take me down. LOL really do need to stop nesting my disease and poison cures inside pouches in my inventory. Kinda makes it hard to get to em in combat.
