Ive heard conflicting info about which skills a Novice TKA should go for first.

One person told me master all of the Power Skill Boxes

Someone else said master all of the Balance Skill Boxes

Someone else mentioned master Meditate up to Skill Box 2(PowerBoost) then go for rest of Power Boxes

What do you recommend?

If you solo most the time get, balance I first for kd, then all the way to power IV.

so in order, 0/1/0/x then 0/1/1/x all the way to 0/1/4/x

then its up to you, i'll say then 4/1/4/x beeing able to heal your wounds reduce the down time, and save money (if you are medic that is, don't need wound packs anymore), only the battlefatigue is needed to be healed. Also power boost is ace. at box 2 in meditate tree.

Why balance I first ? because kd will help you alot if you are soloing. Thats what i did, once i had novice tka, i went to dantooin and hunted pikets plain walker (they are the mission at 9k so u can spot them). used master doc buff, and 80% kinetic armor. KD + warcry HELPED ME ALOT. u'll beat them very fast using that combo.

If you group most of the time, i'd say, power tree first 0/0/4/x. the more damage you deal on top of that more speed. You'll get more xp while grouped, if you deal more damage.

Thats my advice. it worked for me at least. made it master tka in 3 days and half. xp will fly trust me.

If you don't use buffs I would suggest you level all skills equally. If you have 0140 it will be hard to get xp since all the low-mid level mobs will give less xp with that amount of dmg, while the bigger mobs will beat you before you can get enough hits in since you have no viable defenses. Ntm meditation boost is helpful all the time.

I think the last idea was a good one. myself, i first did striking techiniques.( and i would try to go up that one as much as possible considering u dont need unarmed xp, just combat.) then i did power techniques, and balance techniques, so i would then have dizzy and kd (kd them, dizzy then knock 'em back down :smileywink thats as far as i've gotten next im gonna do mediate 1 and then next i would chose which one i want next (which i might stick with meditate up to lvl 2 for power boost)

~Ideas are ideas, but it's the good ones that count~

Power 1, Balance 1, Power 2-4, Balance 2-4, Meditation 1-4, and the Striking along the way.

My template was this:

0100 (KD)

0111 (Dizzy)

2111 (Powerboost)

2142 (maximize damage/speed)

4143 (maximize healing of wounds, bleeds, poisons, and diseases)

4444 (KD2)

That's what I've been doing. I agonized after 0111. Then I decided to try for powerboost, and I haven't regretted it. I'm now at 2121, and PB rocks.

One question about PB, though. I tried powerboosting after taking a muon gold. It didn't seem to give me an extra 250 like I thought it would. Does PB not count buffs?
