I remember the values for good/bad FoW being posted a while back, but in my experience it seems to be 50/50 on getting a good FoW or not, and I also forget to use it often or use it at the wrong time like standing up while a krayt is standing on me... whoopsie fell back down.

I use FoW whenever I get incapped ( not very often ). It is my best friend. My only problem is that the time of use delay is way over the top.

Yeah they nerfed the delay on it pretty good, at the begin you could use it anytime with a change of 1/3 to get up then they made it so you could only use it once an hour with 100% succes change, then they changed it you have 50% change change to get up and if it worked you had to wait an hour to be able to use it again and now they added a change you can get huge ammount of wounds (up to 1800 wounds) and BF.

Giving a delay on those skills isnt that bad but an hour is kinda long, 30 minutes would be more acceptable and that goes not only for tka skills but for others to like vitalize and regeneration etc.

FOW is crap unless you know you're gonna get DBed. Then it saves you from losing your buffs. The delay does suck.

What are you guys calling a good FOW vs. a bad one? In my experience, 90% of the time i get up with about 20% of my ham bars filled. I've seen it filled half way maybe twice and most of the way only once just a couple of days ago.

I never forget about FoW. Although I don't have the hotkey on my toolbar, I always type it out before I die. I'd say its a pretty usefull skill, only problem is the timer as well as people who spam /deathblow...

I generally consider a good FoW one without BF, wounds and such can be meditated away, BF is a pain.

Also living for more than 5 seconds after using it is a plus when it comes to determining a "good one"

Well it's a last chance at survival. It's better than not having the "chance" at all.

For those with a bit of Medic thrown in, it can be useful to add force of will to your healing macro...

/healdamage self;

/forceofwill;

That way if you hit the heal a smidgen too late, you'll compensate a little by getting up (hopefully). Force of will does nothing if you're not actually incapacitated, so there is no harm in throwing it in like that.
