If you have any marksman weapons with a bleed shot, go to dantooine and take missions for quenkers. Be sure you're grouped with a pet/droid/etc and have them stay at the place where you take the missions from. Also be sure to have some decent kinetic armor.

Start with a bleed shot then immediately swtich to your VKs before the next ranged shot can fire. All of the bleed damage will count towardunarmed exp. The quenkers usually have around 4500 HAM and give around 3100 unarmed exp per kill as long as you're grouped. Closer to 2500exp per kill if not grouped.

If you don't have these things, the unarmed grind to TKA will be long, slow, and arduous.

In my experiance with quenkers, they have given me about 3100 to 3200 xp just killing them with a sword I wasnt even grouped. Of course, remember to get some buffs and wear some kinetic armor if you can.

*shrug* Might be having a different experience than me, WTCrap.

I've been exp'ing on quenkers all week. I always get 2550 for one when not grouped, and like 3100-3200 grouped.

Get kenetic layered comp armor and solo Feral banthas on tatooine, they give great xp and are easy to kill. Feral banthas work to get all other starting melee professions too.

I'm a novice brawler trying to go for TKM... wondering if anyone had tips on quick, non-macro brawler XP. Thanks/

Best place for me is Yavin 4 at the Northern outpost... hardly anything DBs, and PLENTY of lairs within 500 meters of the outpost. Get Doc Buffs, and Music Buffs if you can, then wail away for about 500K XP in 90 minutes =)

There is no way that a new brawler would be able to survive out on Yavin, even with full buffing. You just don't do enough damage to kill things quick enough. While a lot of stuff doesn't DB, everything packs, so you have 20 MOBs on you in about 2 seconds.

If you're arelative newbie lacking funds to buy boatloads of armor and multiple VKs (or you're a wookiee who can't wear armor), try and hit up one of the newbie spawns around the galaxy. On Chilastra outside of Tyrena, Corellia, there's a static spawn point of razor cat cubs, gurrcats, and crazed durnis. At the maximum there will be three creatures at the spawn point (a mix of the two cats and durnis), and if you're fully buffed you can go ahead and take them out without any problems. If you get a mind buff if makes life easier since you don't have to worry about getting mind incapped. Berserk every time, and you'll get through brawler and novice TK in no time.

Hope this helps and good luck.

If your going solo, I'd recommend staying on the easy planets and just doing spawns on the outskirts of cities.

A good way to get some nice unarmed xp is at Fort Tusken, but as a brawler you will get wasted solo so make sure you have some buddies with you or just join a group there, usually there are plenty of people there to group with.

If that doesn't sound like "your bag" then head over to one of the harder planets and wait around at the outposts for a group to form up and join them. Don't try to go in and kill everything either or you will get owned really quick, instead let the other people in the group take the damage and wait till the enemy is almost dead then go in there and do some damage. That way you won't take to much damage and you'll get alot of xp quickly.

Just a side note. Its always good to get full buffs and have some muon goldor nuetron pixie with you just to help boost you that much more. Also you should have some good kinetic resist armor like 70%+ if you can afford it.

Oh one more thing. I always used beserk and had my knucklers on for maximum damage, until I reached TK novice then I stopped using beserk as it wasn't necessary.

This is the best way if youve got some cash. If youre completely new, disregartd most of this.

Step one: Get 3 sets of fast unsliced VK's. Go to a master smuggler, and get all 3 sets sliced. Hopefully one will have the speed sliced. Damage means nothing yet. Get a full set of Kinetic composite or ubese. anywhere from 75-80% Kinetic resistance. Get a full set of Doctor buffs.

Step two: go to dantooine. Get a driod, or low leel pet or what not. tell it to stay at the mission terminal, grab two quenker missions. Find the missions, and engage the quenkers. Go berserk. every quenker will take 3-90 seconds to kill, giving about 3200 XP per quenker. In about 6 lairs, you can generally get to TKA novice. At that point do Savage quenkers, for about 4k per SQ.

DO NOT use a bleed. The patch that goes through this morning, gives bleeds and dots XP. it will reduce your Unarmed XP. have fun., after an hour and a half ish, you will qualify for TKA novice, and it all gets easier from there.

Have fun, and good luck.
