Thread: Which is the better tank?

TKM, M. Fencer or M. Swordsman? One or the others. It is to my understanding that Fencers and Swordsmen can wear a bit more armour than TKMs, but not sure. Not so much interested in dealing damage than taking it. Especially against creature PvE, but NPC (nightsisters) PvE is also something I'm wondering about...

I was under the impression that Fencers have better status defence and superior dodging abilities andcoupled with C.O.B this would make them better tanks?
Dunno what you mean by Fencers and swordsmen wearing more armour than TKM?

As it stands Fencers are the best tanks. With their dodge, plus their COB, they can aggro a mob, continually taunt, and only be hitmaybe one out of every ten times. They are followed shortly by the TKA, because of toughness and defense, and swordsman are last because of block. If oyu block an attack with an affect(like a dot, dizzy or KD) then it still goes through the block, meaning theya re very easy to take out of combat.

master pistoleer master tk fencer 0004 i believe or is it 0040, not sure wich one has all the defence stats in it

Whyw ould being a master pistoleer, or having meditate help any? As It is, with things like block dodge and counterattack, they only apply iwht the weapons they were trained in. IE: Im master fencer and Swordsman, but I dont get the block and dodge if I have a one handed sword out, I only get the dodge.
