Ok we all know of the damage reporting bug, i.e. reading 1pt damage all the time. But recently i've been reading that UnarmedCombo2 has some fine uses when battling/dueling stackers.
Why is it suggested for use against stackers? What do you look for when using it?
Also, supposedly Combo is bypassing Damage Mitigation, is this true?
ThankYou.

I know that Combo 1 is great for hitting the mind without crawling to the top of the striking line. I don't think it compares to head hit though. I haven't used a combo move in a long time.

A few things about the Combos:
The only 100% confirmed thing is that over a long battle(one that lasts more than a minute or two) Unarmed Combo 1 will consistantly do more damage to health than if you just spammed body hit 1. This is very useful if you are in a group in PvE trying to take down something tough and everyone is focusing on health.
Mostly confirmed, as well, is that although the combos report 1pt damage, you do actually do more than 1pt damage, it is just the combat spam is reporting incorrectly.
The two other things with the combos have not been tested enough to confirm whether or not they are actually true. The first is whether or not they bypass mitigation/armor or not. We can't say for sure whether it does or not, if, however, it does do this, it is most certainly a bug and will probably be fixed before too long.
The second is that many have reported that the combos ignore dodge/block/counter-attack. This is also unconfirmed and if true would also be a bug that would eventually be fixed.

i pretty much only use the combos if I want a change of animation (this being all kidding aside, seriously). I never really found a place where they seem to fit into my methods.
Against a really tough creature I do normally add a couple of Combo2's to the beginning, and just see if I happen to do more damage with them, but normally UAHit2 and 3 are my primary attacks.

I haven't really found Combo 2 to be useful for anything other than watching a "neato" animation and draining my HAM. That being said, I'm typically an UnarmedHit3 monkey, but I will do some testing on Combo 1/2 and pay closer attention.

Since I usually fight unbuffed, I do not use UA3 much if at all. Even buffed I take directed damage over undirected damage any day of the week - I don't want to kill a critter three times, once is enough.
IME,combo 1 works better than unarmed body hit 1 for taking down health - less of a HAM cost as well, and it stacks good with other health hitting attacks, like pistols.

b/c you can only block one of the shot the attack is 3 shots H/A/M they might dodge block or counter attack the mind shot but they will get hit by the other 2

What a fencer? Do they still believe they can defeat TKAs when a TKA can use Combohit2 and hit all three pools with a 90%+ to-hit bonus????
