If you've got money, then it shouldn't be too bad.

1) Get a speed-sliced vibroknuckler. My current one is 1.8 speed, 32-150 damage. I've seen as fast as 1.5. The faster the better.

2) Get buffed and go to Dantooine. Don't forget Vasarian Brandy.

3) Take normal quenkar missions (make sure you don't do the savage quenkars). They'll net you about 2,500xp if you're soloing, or 3,000+ if you're solo-grouped.

4) Don't forget to use berserk.

Also, aset of composite or decent ubese is very useful.

Without armour and against quenkers you might struggle a bit, even with a good buff. To be honest, I didn't try it without my armour on so it's difficult to say. Anyone able to comment?

The other option is to pick up Medic if you don't already have it and buy some good stim b's (350-400 plus strength). You can then heal yourself as you get damaged. You might find yourself healing more often than you're hitting them though.

To be honest, most of the stuff on Dant is designed for players with medium to high skill levels (and my character on Farstar does not fall into that catagory). But with a buff and armour you can reduce the damage down to a trickle and handle them, even if it does take some time to kill them.

A proper group hunt might be the way to go. Running enraged rancor missions out of dathomir with a group will take longer to grind but you will be earning good money which can then go towards the armour. Just an idea.

Yeah you're right -- I had armor the whole time too. I eventually bought myself a near-complete set of ubese armor. Someone in my clan gave me a complete set of composite (sans boots) as well. Yeah I can't imagine doing anything on Dantooine without armor.

Fortunately you could probably get away with Ubese -- it's relatively cheap and has decent kinetic resist. For me, I chose to get the body armor first, then helmet, then bracers. I chose that order because I just kind of figured I would protect what was probably getting hit the most. I have absolutely no hard data to back that up, so it may not matter where you start putting your armor in what order. I honestly don't know how the game chooses where/when your armor protects you.

Be very wary of Quenkers. I don't know if ALL or just the savage are doing this but they have some NASTY ranged poison attacks now and they also have increased HAM. I still kick their teeth in with TKM in a few seconds, but I'm just uber . Now if you take that statement seriously, you can take it and seriouslybash a quenker to death with it

I'f you know any TK masters, take a trip to Corellia, do the infamous "solo grp" thing and head out with them on 'Naff missions. Iwent fromhalf way up UA3 toUA4 in about 3 hours with one TKM friend. She aggro'd them and I joined in, and within 4 days, I had my own shiney TKM title. They will give you some sh!t, but if you use good brandy, get agood buff and if your mind starts to drop, unequip your VK, then you should be OK! If all else fails, use the old favourite /BurstRun and leave your more than capable m8 to tackle them until it's safe to return.

I'm 1,1,1,2 TKA and ive been doing quenkar missions on dantooine the whole time without armor. In fact, I've never used armor. I've also done a few picket missions for fun without a problem, they just take longer. But I do get buffed and im a master CH.

I imagine as a Master CH you have some nice pets to tank for you which helps

I am still running plain old quenker missions for the xp. In a solo group they give 3.2k per kill and 5 spawn at a time. The great thing is they're easy. The HAM is low and if you can get them all agroing you at the samge time you can just Unarmed Spin Attack 1. Whilst this only delivers half the damage of Unarmed Hit 2, you are hitting all 5 Quenkers which means you polish them off alot quicker. Using this method I picked up 370k xp in 2 hours last night. Not that stimulating mind you

And Cobra, I gotta agree about the Ubese. I picked up a full set of 68% kinetic last night on FarStar for just 41k and it worked as well as the composite on the quenkers.

Ahhh, you're on FarStar as well I didn't notice before.

The Armoursmithwas Watcho or Wacho and his tent was about 1k outside Coronet. I don't have thewp here I'm afraid but he should be on the map. If you have any trouble finding it then drop me a tell and I'll look up the exact wp for you. I paid 17k for the shirt, and 12k each for the helmet and trousers (or 'pants' as mine are called). I think this is quite cheap as I have seen a similar shirt go for 35k elseware.

Other than that, good luck. Perhaps I'll bump into you on dant in the coming evenings

It's just the savage quenkars that have the ranged attack. Regular quenkars and scavenger (I think??) scouts do NOT have a ranged attack.

I like running pikets myself, simply because of the 10,000 credit payout for pikets vs the 5,000 payout for regular quenkars. The piketstake longer to kill, but you can usually pull one at a time if you stand far enough away and pull one at a time. All bets are off when you have to run up to the lair and start banging on it.
