ive been commando for some time, but i havent really worked on it for some time cus i was busy doing3 holo profs, but i stopped doing that.
so ive decided tka's are really powerful so im going to take it up.. so i already have unarmed 4, but now i gotta get 125k unarmed to get to novice tka.. im outside corellia afk'ing on ragtags.. yeah i know afking is lame, but im really busy.
anyhoo, are ragtags any good to afk on? i really dont have alot of money so i cant buy buffs and go fight real things like rancors or something... what do you guys say i should do?
and yes, i DID read the faq
edit=oh yeah, im a human, and i like to wear armor so wat do u think the best ham settings are?

were you killing quenkers?
and btw, wats does the brandy do, and wats the downside thing (at the end of it) ?
and u got the 125k with the 18 of those?

On my server buffs cost between 5 and 12k. They last for 2-3 hours.
With a set of buffs, some cheap armour and a ticket to Dantooine you can easily solo some of the lower level missions. Just stick to the lowest paying ones and you certainly won't be out of your depth.
You will earn around 3k per mission and complete at least 10 missions in 2 hours more than covering the buffs and getting plenty of XP while you are there.
With Buffs I would recommend migrating over to mind. It becomes important anyway for med level 2 when you get the powerboost ability that boostsyourHAM by 50% of your mind stat.
There is no need to afk your way to TKA - you should enjoy it!

What i did when i was lvling was i would just get buffed hitch a ride to dath and go hunt rancors with any group i could find. If you just use berserk u can get somewhere around 1-2k of xp and if ur group is good they wont let you die. When you get higher u can just solo rancors and lvl like its nothing. AFKing is the work of the devil kid....

+400ish to each of the 3 mind bars for around 35 minutes. It not only ups your mind from, say, 1000 to 1400, but your substats from roughly 400 to 800. Your mind regenerates faster because of that. Or, if you're wearing a helmet, you mind regenerates like it normally would without the helmet. Once you get a **edit** of the bottle, you're hooked. You can never go back to fighting sober. No downside. It just wears off and you pop another shot or 2. 35 minutes x 18 is around 10 hours. Or 5 hours if you double shotted the whole way and yes, you could easily do 5 quenker missions an hour for 5 hours and make 125k.

Another good thing to get your hands on if your going to do some serious fighitng is synthsteak. Stats vary depending on who makes it but it decreases dmg taken by a certain % over a determined number of hits to you. Works great when u want to solo those punk with 350k ham....

I'm novice TKA. I saved up enough cash to get a buff and bought 18 varsian brandy and went to Dantooine. I got more than 125k in less than 3 hrs.

The filter in game is a little weird also. Before i turned it off i realized that you can't say Jesus but you can say buddha allah u kno all the other beliefs gods. Lil weird

Heh, i can grind Mokk or Janta missions and get about 400k an hour

if you can, save up your money and head to dathomir. if you've got semi-decent armor, you can do giant baz nitch missions....payout is great, if you survive. they'll prolly be hard even if you're buffed fully...i don't know when i first started running those missions. but you get about 30k xp per mission, with a payout of just over 11k. very worth it in all regards. or just team up with someone....even if you split the creds, you pay for your buff in 2 missions.
