Nightsisters

Krayts

I realises some of these may be never...just a wondering...any posts on "how-to's". I want to loot some nice gear for my WS friend !

I use buffs, Canape, Brandy, high %age stun/kinetic armours accordingly.

While TK is one of the best professions in the game for tanking (the very best when combined with Fencer, Pistoleer, or possibly doc), it is not one of the best damage-dealing professions when it comes to high-end mob's.

Many of the mob's you're interested in have medium armor or better, and 80% or higher resist to kinetic damage.

For example, youmay be able to tank a Krayt or a Nightsister Elder for quite a while, but killing it without the help of a healer and adamage dealer (rifleman, swordsman, CM) will be tough.

Concerning Nightsisters, Elders have heavy armor and 100% resist to kinetic, so you won't be able to kill one with TK skills only. You may be able to hold it off for half an hour, but eventually it will wear you down. All the others (Protectors, Spell Weavers, Rangers, Sentinels, Initiates, etc.)are vulnerable to your attacks, andif you reach the melee defensecap by dabbling in fencer and/or pistoleer, you will be able to handle several at a time without too much risk.

Regular Krayts have medium armor and (if I remember correctly) 80% resist to Kinetic. In my experience, they can't be soloed using TK skills only, even with capped melee defense. Ancient krayts have strong dizzy and KD attacks that make them even more dangerous. Even with +70 defense vs. KD, I spend quite a lot of time on my back when fighting them. Juvenile Krayts are fine.

Concerning the geo,a single Kwi or a single Kliknik is not a big deal. The problem is, you can rarelyfight one creature at a time. There are good days and bad days. A high ranged defense skill mod is a big asset against the Klikniks and the Droidekas.

Thanks a bunch for that. Ill look at backing up my TKA with some alternate skills, perhaps swordsman or fencer skills and form there I can learn more.

No, I can solo nightsisters. Just not NS elders. As for soloing a krayt. The young would be easy. The medium.....possible but not very likely. I have never even seen an ancient krayt yet so I can't say for sure. But I think it would be say to say, impossible.TKM can solo 95% PvE. The other 5% is rare mobs or 100% resist mobs.

You will need to be near master to surive the Geo caves and kill your share of creatures, although if there are any swordsman around they will KS you everytime as they have medium AP to a TK light AP. Overall TK is a great class but because of the light AP it would take you a long time to solo NS and Krayts....
