EXACTLY, The Tera Kasi Order was founded to watch over the jedi, they were never intended to be jedi hunters. I do find all the references to Jedi fearing TKM's in the EU to be very interesting, but as it stands this is not the in game reality....
This is the response to the Jedi Punchlist. At the very end of TH's post he makes a lot of refrences to the TKA as well as some history. Why that part of his post was never stickied here will forever elude me, however the Dev statement is there regarding the TKA.

Thats one of the quotes from TH.
That is the second quote. Its very conflicting as its basically saying "yeah TKA is a martial art designed to fight Jedi.... But were not going to make it that way in SWG..."
So from a roleplaying sense Teras Kasi WAS designed to fight Jedi. But from a SWG sense its not going to be that way. Roleplayers will be happy (although I dont hear of too many roleplaying TKA lately...)

I think the Not being balanced by develpers as a SWG profession specifically to fight Jedi was a hint there Spuzzed. You even posted that in your link. I think they should make TKMs able to fight and kill jedi but I also think they should make it as hard as getting jedi. For just a profession that doesnt take long to master I cant see them allowing us to be able to kill a profession thats takes months maybe longer to master. In my opinion they should make us uber like jedis but harder to get novice. Maybe like quest based like the new jedi publish 10. That would give a balance to jedi and the normal professions. Just an idea and that would settle alot of arguments on the professions against jedis.
If they really needed Jedi in the game, they should have actually made it hard. I don't care what anyone says, grinding 30+ professions is just time consuming and stressful, not hard. And it certainly is a sorry method for becoming a Jedi in the first place. I grinded 4 in a few days (I wasn't a hologrinder, just getting my character finished) with no trouble at all. I actually had fun with it.
