The burned-out war herowho's left society and uses his innate control of his body, the calming nature of his self-mastery,and his wartime survival skills to live off the land... spending most of his time in solitary meditation and contemplation, only striking when struck at, and disappearing into the mountains just as fast... until his skills are needed once again. He eschews weapons, seeing them as a weakness, and his body is hardened and mastered from his manyyears of discipline and oneness with the wild.
Interesting? Not for you pvp junkies, but RPers?

Beautifully said! When I started this game about a month and a half ago, my intention was to go straight after Teras Kasi and Ranger, with the same kind ofwhistful sentiment expressed in your post. Yah, a dreamer, a loner at heart, absorbed in a solitary mastery for its own sake.I suspect that the two professions catch their share of Tragic Romantics, though of course we are more complex than that, as are we all. Today I just got the xp for TK Novice, and my Scout is 3-4-3-3, so maybe we'll meet on some windswept alien environment someday, having just emerged from our respective 40 day meditations!
(playing as Odyesseus O'Riley, this name my homage to the Wanderer/Trickster/Hero archetype,on Ahazi. Surely Odyesseus was a Ranger!)

Nicely written, I like it. Although...if I wrote it, I would make him a CH/TKA, thus is he one with nature and a druid/monk archtype with nature's fury by his side.

^ Yeah, I thought about that, and you'd still have enough points to get 3 boxes in Ranger... probably Tracking, since the best camo kits don't come along until Exploration IV and Master... but Tracking III gets you all the pet tracking stuff. It would be nice to have Endor, Lok, and/or Dathomir camo kits, though - you can find some pretty out-of-the-way spots on Dathomir 
I wish there were enough SPs to get all three - maybe since they've dumped Scout for BH, they'll dump it for Ranger... after all, Ranger is basically more of the same, so why make players spend 140 points on the same stuff over and over? Haha, wishful thinking...
Anybody play Knights of the Old Republic? Picture Jolee Bindo, but without the 'sabre

HEHE when i started this game back in November my first master profession was TKM /CH this was a great profession to play as i loved my pets , but add some ranger to it and it would be alot of fun , just a shame the nerfed CH into a useless profession

I remember back when I was a TKM / Master Creature Handler...
They were the2 most fun professions in the game. Sadly I gave up CH when they nerfed it for the 4th time

I've been in this game for about two months now, maybe less. But tonight, or tomorrow night I will achieve the dream I had from the first day I logged in. I already am a TKM but soon I will finish Master Ranger. And then let the quests, exploration and saga begin!!!

I am a Master Rifleman Ranger 0-0-4-0 and was thinking of dropping Rifleman for TK mainly for the meditate line. I find myself greatly annoyed that a TKM can meditate away wounds, poison and diseases but my gimpy ranger cant forage anything to cure his disease.
I was just wondering what other benefits of TK could I see besides the sheer killing power I have seen before.
