Thread: Two TKM's looking for other profs to do

Me and a mate of mine are both TKM's, he is also Master CH, and I am doing some Commando skills now. However, we are both racking our brains as to what Profs to do next, but we want to keep TKM.I wasthinking that we should do two profs that wouldcompliment each other but at the same time allow us to both be individual if we wanted to.


Does anyone have any good ideas as to what to do as second profs?

actually, i'm interested in this, too.


currently i'm a master doctor, 0021tka, 0021pistoleer, and i have enough pistol exp to get novice and one or two boxes in smuggler, but not enough skillpoints


i want to be tkm and ???, but i'm not sure what i want to do. any recommendations?

The 2 of you could be self sufficient when it is the 2 of you hanging out most of the time which seems like the case if one was a TKM/Dancer and the other was a TKM/Doc

or one of you could do rifles and the other do swordsman or fencer

Perhaps then we should do one of us as Medic and Doc, and the other as Smuggler.....slices and buffs anyone?

Here are some ideas:

TKA/Doc self buffs, buffs for friends, state heals, no range
self buffs, buffs for friends, state heals, no range


TKA/Pistoleer/Master Smuggler
Kinda jack of all trades, you got melee, you got range, got spice n slice. you can choose not to master smuggler, and instead just pick up the dirty fighting line allowing you to get more medic, which was my template for a long time.

TKA/rifleman(or carbineer or just pistoleer)
Well, with rifleman, you can do damage in PvP, very good damage.
With carbineer, you can do dizzy/KD from range and choose to kill with cripple shot or
melee them to death.

TKA/(insert melee class here)
Fencer for defense and KD control and dodge and more. Add some pistoleer for range/dodge.
Swordsman if you want to put lots of hurt in PvE and good damage vs Jedi.
Pikeman, only if your suicidal...

TKA/CH
Good for PvE and roleplaying, but in PvP, pets die too fast and jedi use the mind trick.

TKA/Commando
Was ok, but flamethrower is just as good as it used to be. Personally, launcher pistol with pistoleer is great vs turrets.


Now if you want something different, and I mean different, you can try what I am going:

Bounty Hunter 3-4-0-0 and TKM and medic

Well, I can hunt jedi, melee, and use a carbine. Why carbine? I figure crowd control. Confusion for damage will keep them dizzy and FireKD to KD them down, suppression fire as backup. Haven't tried it. I am grinding to BH today to test it out.

Nice post, this really helps, it answers lots of questions and gives me lots of possibilities. I did think the BH route, as I was BH 2444, and gave it up for commando. However, I think I am gonna give the TKA/Doc route a try, it should be a laff for a while, and then later I may just go back to BH.
