Its fairly suboptimal as far as I can see... that said I'm having a lot of fun as a TKM/MS/ (Still looking for something permanent to stick here)

For combat in nearly full groups a killer addition to TK/MS is Commando 0003 + Whatever other Commando goodies you want.

Pick up an Acid Stream Launcher and apply states and root pretty much every critter around a lair all at once... or better yet get another ranged group member to aggro a critter or two while the melee folks stay between the lair and the puller, then stand off to the side and root them as they come in. (This avoid ticking off the entire lair and spawning more critters.)

Its nice to have a ranged template that is useful (REALLY low damage though) in ranged combat and yet can hold their own when a critter comes after them.

The main problem I'm having is I can't decide if I want to grab Sword 0004 for the Critical Strike. With that in combat I could lead with pistol to root while I apply states, then when the root wears off switch to unarmed to deal out damage.

If it were possible I'd grab Rifle 4400 in the hopes that Snipershot, Conceal and Conceal shot start doing their jobs at some point. TK/MS/Rifle 4400 would feel more like a Commando to me than Commando does. Start out with a snipe and pour out a couple concealed shots until the target comes towards you whereupon you root before they can get their own weapons in range, when they finally get to you drop that weapon and pound away.

But like I said its not ideal... just fun to play. And I rarely feel like I'm just standing around mindlessly spamming specials.
