Thread: Former TKM/MC... Now what should I do?

I was pretty happy with being a Teras Kasi Master/Master Commando pre CU, but now the combination doesn't seem to fit very nicely. I used to be able to get buffed, join a solo group, go to Dathomir and take Rancor missions for lots of XP and creds. Flame DOT then kick the crap out of them. Now I die very fast. What's the secret to going out and kicking butt? I think I still like TKM, but what should I pair it with? I want to be able to solo rancors, nightsisters and the like (like I used to be able to do), and I want to do well in groups in a dungeon. I only get the chance to play about once a week for a few hours so I don't have a lot of time to experiment. Any suggestions?

You cannot solo a NS. Maybe a Stalker, but nothing above that, at least not effectively; that's if you make some Smuggler/Commando Hybrid and DoT spam and FD ad nauseum.

I have found TKM/MRifle/Commando 4040 to be damn effective. Rifleman specials with RL or flamethrower, TK defenses, super DPS rifle when you want single target.
