Thread: Getting torn up....

Ok, so I just got back into the game with my trusty TKM+MB. I decide I want to throw in some swordsman, and I need enough XP to get novice. So, I head off to dant, and take a few quenker missions.
I am getting torn appart by a single quenker ravenger! I'm using COB to cut his attack down, but I'm hitting soooo slowww with or without a weapon. With a sword, I'm only hitting for 190ish every (what seems like) 5 seconds. He's just ripping me for ~60 damage (cut down from 133 due to COB) every few seconds. So much for being a tank :/
So, what do I need to do here folks? I'm obviously missing something on the defenses...at least I hope.

do you have any melee defense bio clothing? I think the post CU clothingis a melee/ranged defense combo whjich will be nice. Also I respected to TKM and Master Pikes. The Warcry and Intimidate from pikemanwork very well.

I'm not wearing any BE clothing that has defense stats. It's on my list of stuff to do today

As for not being able to deal much dmg its prolly cause your a tank and by design not supposed to be. I suggest diff foods to last longer as a tank. melee def, mitigation, dodge, health regen, or maybee pick up some medic, i have 0230 cause i dont have the sp for 0240, but using bacta toss/throw right after each other i heal for over 500, nt as powerfull as stims pre c-u but youve got instant stimpacks that can be used once a minute in case of emergencies.
As far as bio clothing goes i got some made for me with the new +2 melee, +6 ranged. doesnt make an outstanding difference but every little bit helps.

btw: ranged creatures are schooling a lot of people. Dunno if they're still out of balance or what. Stay away from Quenkers and Voritors might help. My group(s) pretty much stays with Pikets on Dantooine.

dun think they balanced dath as of yet lol. And if you have armor, if you are a TKM it is ok to take it off ((Better without it actually)) and COB actually increases your chance of avoiding a hit as well as reduce the damage being done to you. Hope I could help

I just got back from dant. The creature levels are all screwed up. Now a std. issue quenker (which con'd far below me 3 hours ago) is now level 76 and instant death (I'm 56) LOL. He hit me for almost 600 a strike when I rode through their lair.
Hope they get that fixed heh.
I found that as long as I kept up on my COB, and using break armor, I could land 600+ per hit w/ a special stike (no VK's or anything).
