In the Post CU period i have found out some interesting things. Let me say that i definately not new to the TK profession ( been a TKM since 2 months after launch). As a TKM, MB, 1-1-2-1 Pikeman, 0-4-0-0 Marksman, Novice Smuggler, 0-0-1-0 Medic, and 2-0-0-0 Scout im only considered a CL 60 Post CU. I have beeen trying to hunt solo on Dathomir and it isnt good. A Escaped Night Sister Slave is now a CL 71 and hands me a ticket fairly quickly to the cloning booth. This iwouldnt havebelieved in my wildest dreams ... A TKM cant even "take down" an Escaped Slave"..... all i can say is i hope the fix for all things broken arrives pretty quick, if not there wont be enough people around to buy this new exspansion they are trying to push out soon. There should be an almost Daily flood of updates happening each & every day until they can get all of these various class issues fixed.
Mankind .... I really have to compliment your patience ...... to have to ask questions in such a "Generic" way in order to get a response is mind boggling ..... and then to recieve the type of response that you did..well i dont know how you held it together without going Ballistic on them.... all kudos to your resolve and what you continue to strive to do for the TK community.
I really dont want to say it, as im not a neigh-sayer, but if this is what they envision a TKM to be and without some fixes starting to come in pretty quickly, then i will be having to un-subscribe as this is not the game i signed up to play. This game is called Star Wars not EQ, i play both games so im very familiar withwhat the difference in them should be. All these new abilities andverbage of Tanks, Holding Aggro, Taunt Button, Crowd Control, Snare, Root, etc. is pure EQ style stuff. I dont mind grouping to do things at all, but if i want to play my character in a soloable role then i should be able to do so without any problems at all. Certain situations, events, mobs, etc. should be considered a "group" type of encounter, but not much solo exp can be had at present inthe way the CU has been implimented.
