Thread: Why do TKA need Two hand sword?

Guess the title sums it up. why does a TKA need two hand sword branch in brawler?? Was that just put in to waste skill points? I just dont see any purpose for it besides that.

Well...actually yes, although crudely stated, yes, TKA needs Two-Handed to use up, 14 skill points thereby bringing TKA inline with the SP requirements for other Elite Combat Professions. Now all Elites, require TWO novice skill trees. We may not like it, but the second part of the CU (CU/RB) seems to be overlooked by many pre-CU TKAs. It is a Combat Upgrade ReBalance.

The problem being that, where Marksman had the Ranged Combat Support line that was generic to each of pistols, carbines and rifles, there was no equivalent for melee, so you wound up with odd combinations. Yes, it's dumb, but there isn't actually any line that makes a great deal of sense alongside TKA and at least 2h melee puts you in a good position to get some high damage attacks by taking a couple of boxes in Swordsman.
