Thread: Question for those who've gone TKM/MSwords with or without MBrawler? postCU

Just curious if any of you that are using this template or something similar, what specials do you mainly use? Also, what do you find to be the best default attack?
Right now I'm TKM/MSwords/MBrawler using a new Blaster Fist. Armor consists of socketed Ubese Shirt, socketed Hooded Cloak, and socketed Bio Eng Clothing.
I haveSword Flurryfrom Swordsman setup as my default attack. Then for my main specials I use Leg Sweep, Dizzy Attack, Armor Break, and spam Combo Attack and I was thinking of also throwing in Bleed Attack from Swordsman....
Defensive wise I use Center of Being and Parry Riposte.
Trouble I'm having thus far is it seems I run out of action too fast...
I've tried using Critical Strike from Swordsman as my default attack and then even switched to Melee Assault from MBrawler instead....yet I still run out of action way too fast.....

That's what I've been using as well. I tend to use Sword Flurry only occasionally, when I really need the defense. Other than that, I tend to alternate Headhit, Critical Strike, Impale (from Pike) and knockdown. I don't find myself running out of action too much, though. When I do, I swap over to melee assault and melee hit for a bit, then start up again.
I'm also using a power hammer to do it, so I'd recommend taking a look at some of the foods now - I keep brandy/canape running to buff my regen bar....

I'm TKM/MS/Doc2002. I picked the doc instead of pike or fencer so I could heal myself. I think it works great. I also use head hit as default while spaming critical. I love it and I can habdle 3 yellow npc's at once so it works.

Truth be told, what I use for a default attack is the basic Melee Strike. Have it go off automatically, not using up too much action, while I kick off Improved Armor Break, Sword Flurry, Bleed, and others at opportune moments. So far haven't had too much trouble keeping some action in my bar as long as I carefully.

Ok. First piece of advice - get rid of the blaster fist. the things suck for tkm, you do more damage unarmed. if you have rage of the wookies expansion go find the Knuckles of Katarn. ive got 545 modified dps with TKM. I use advanced head hit and advanced combo attack. I use CoB for defnese, got rid of master brawler so i could get triple master w/ fencer also so i dont have parry riposte, never actually used it much anyway. I use armor break and bleed shot at the beginning then just keep those going when they run out.

Might watch out, I've heard the katarns are bugged, acting as 1H weapons instead of unarmed, at least at the moment.
I still want one however...hopefully it won't wind up hanging on the 'arsenal wall' in my bedroom instead of being on my fist where it belongs
