Thread: I don't understand Tera Kasi Novice

Hello everyone! I'm just returning to SWG and I picked up my old character who is a master brawler. I continued to use my unarmed to get Tera Kasi novice. The Tera Kasi novice box says I get a +60 to unarmed damage. Yet when I attack I see a minimal increase in damage. I don't understand how the numbers work. I know there's this new combat system, which after getting used to, I kind of like, so maybe someone could enlighten me?

It's odd, Boldgrim. I can't help you with this I'm afraid, one of the other more knowledgable TKA's will help you ASAP.

I think the +60 to damage is resadue left over from pre CU stats, our combo hit at master is around 300 damage with no knucklers on I find melee strike from swordman hits alot harder then combo does and uses less action. try it out ...doing around 540 each hit with it .... TKA is just weak on the damage output so I would advise get 2 hits from swords or pike.. then master someother proffession you think would be good....

don't forget that that the combo attack damages are bugged in the combat spam.
when you see "You use advanced combo on butterfly for 300 damage" -it's actually 300 x3 = 900 damage (you can confirm this by watching hte health bar of your enemy).
the combat spam is bugged on the combo's.

Yup. Quite right. I have noticed this myself. (The first indication the spam was wrong was when I one-shotted a 1k Health (roughly) critter but it said I did "300something" damage.
