Thread: I just got back on, Im confused about my XP, Can someone lend their knowledge for me

I got back on, /respec, all the way to master doc and 2 boxes away from master tka. My Char lvl is 72, I fight a janta primalist and get 1 unarmed combat XP, anyway am i doing something wrong or am i just fighting too weak of mob? Plus if soloing is going to take as long as it just did, im going swordsman, or other recomended profession

Everything has a CL now. You are fighting NPCs that are to low of a level. There should be a number by the bar of NPCs giving you their CL, you need to find CL 70 - 74 NPCs to give a decent amount of XP. Or find a full group and get CL 82 missions.
One of the best methods I've found is to hunt Bull Banthas CL 82 on tatooine. The lair is full of them and as long as you have good healers, stims, tanking ability, the xp just flows in. Having an AoE attack helps to make sure you hit everything at least once.
On a lucky night I found myself running these missions with a full group, 4 were jedi, one was a master defender. We just all stood next to the lair and I maxedmy Unarmed, 2 hand, polearm and combat xp in a couple of hours.
Well the lucky part was the entire night, not a single bounty hunter

At CL 54 I was fighting CL 53's and getting 1 xp. I think the mob has to be at least even or higher..unless it's a bug.

Definitly a bug, as a lvl 80 I get semi-decent xp off 78 and 79's, but better off 81 and 82's

for every level below yours, you will lose 10% of the total available XP. For every level above you gain 10%.
