what does stun and dizzy do now?

and what is your attack sequence?

My attack sequence is pretty much as follows:

COB, KD, Armor Break, Dizzy, Strike, Combo, Strike, Armor Break, Strike, Combo, Strike, KD, COB, Armor Break...

I don't even use any specials anymore except Armor Break and COB.......I do more damage with just a plain old /attack than with any specials...........unless I'm doing something wrong. I can't use my VK anymore either because it does garbage damage now, so I'm reduced to bare fists and no specials.

This has probably been said before...


Is it just me or should any weapon equipped on top of bare fists do more damage than bare fists alone? I know, I know, this is not real life, but it seems to me that at least some percentage of the weapon damage should stack with bare fist damage.


Anyway, my sequence depends on whether I am grouped or not. In a group it is: taunt, KD, CoB, armor break, dizzy, possibly WarCry (from Pikes), leg sweep (also from Pikes), then heals inbetween default melee hit till dead. Solo my sequence is: attack, KD, CoB, armor break, leg sweep, heal, KD, leg sweep, etc.

Guys, I have said this before but it doesn't seem to get through...

Time your specials with and without weapons. A blaster fist cuts your damage by 25% (roughly) per HIT, but it lets you get in 3x as many HITS. So instead of doing 100 damage every 3 seconds you're doing 75 damage every second. It's actually WAY better to use a weapon than bare hands because of this.

The weapons also eat up action so you have to be more careful with them.

Remember, damage per hit and damage per second are NOT the same thing. Don't just look at the raw numbers -- they are misleading.

To be honest, I have no idea what Dizzy does. I've asked this on the forums before, and nobody seems to really know ("I think it reduces accuracy???"). I do know that you can't burst run while dizzy, but I'm sure that's not it.


The description for Stun says something about preventing your opponent from regenerating ability points, but it seems to me like it slows down my attack speed as well. Anyone else have anything more concrete on this?

In the old days stun and dizzy decreased accuracy and/or damage (can't remember which or if both did which or both, LOL). I know when I was stunned and dizzy I did less damage and missed more often. I know watching things attack me, it's hard to tell with hit/miss but the damage was reduced with some of these states.

Whether those sorts of effects are still true after the CU, I have no idea.

Stun used to reduce damage output of the stunned critter or person and dizzy used to make you fish flop if you tried to get up from a kd.


Ihave no idea what dizzy does now there's kd recovery but i think stun works as it used to
