i can't seem to find the post, but i thought i remembered someone posting last week or a little earlier about tanking necrosis as tkm (maybe it was a master pikeman?) with a template that included at least 4 x x x and some other stuff. Does anyone know where I can find that post? I'm looking for the guys template as well as his strategy.
I'd like my TK to be able to tank on high and stuff and heal himself and not be gimped at damage output completely.....

The trick against Necrosis is to let a ranged guy take aggro, and prevent Necrosis from reaching the ranged guy using KD's, roots, and snares. Even when out of range, Necrosis will try to hit the ranged guy, and you will be able to hit him without taking any damage at all.
If a melee guy is telling you that he wasn't taking any damage from Necrosis, that's probably what was happening. In reality you're not tanking, because Necrosis isn't trying to hit you--he is focusing on the ranged guy.
The ranged guy must be a very good kiter, and it helps if he has 2 roots.
Using this tactic, we did it once with a group of 4 non-jedi--2 ranged and 2 melee--and one of the ranged guys went down very early in the fight. In another occasion, only myself and a pistoleer/smuggler friend of mine were still alive to fight Necrosis after killing the guards, and we took him down. But that was when lungewas a KD ...
Without using this trick, you need heals. Without heals, and with COB on, I can take about 3 hits from Necrosis before I go down. The guards are easier.

best tanking template is:
TKM+Mpikeman+doc 4000
I was able to tank necrosis for quite some time it helps hitting him with as many states as possible.
I usually use good sythsteak and brandy with bacta infuse ect. the trick is to cutdown his damage and watch your icob dont drop.
With all the healing you do to yourself he will stick to you like glue.

thats what i hear, just get tkm/master pikeman/doc 4000 some steaks, and keep CoB up, then have a healer behind ya, and have some rifleman do the damage, it has been done and is doable, just gotta be careful keep aggro and keep alive

should be harder after pub 19.
healing now only counts 50% in the hate system and there is only one real root now with pistoleers stopping shot. smugglers concussion shot breaks on damage. makes it more difficult for rifleman to do the damage and stay alive.
try to have a cm at hand to reduce movement and combat speed and increase the possibility of states.
